    How is that a tough decision? Only because thus far, Winslow has more fantasy points than Gates. But yeah, against those teams, hard to go with Winslow.

    It has as much to do with Cleveland as it does with Baltimore. They scored all of 6 points against the Broncos.

    Even if you're right about that play on the sideline, Carter definitely led with his helmet on the tackl of Olsen when he ran down the middle.

    I think I've made my decisions on these, but what the heck...lets get opinions... Aaron Rodgers vs STL or Matt Ryan vs NE (probably Rodgers) 2 of these: Deangelo Williams vs Dallas Ryan Grant vs STL Felix Jones vs Carolina Probably Williams and Grant there. Finally TE: Gates vs Miami Winslow vs NYG Leaning towards Gates

    Not worried, not anymore than most games. This is the first one that I'm expecting a win. It would be a very disappointing loss. Yeah...especially with the number of injuries that Seattle is dealing with. I'm actually thinking we win this by more than a TD.

    I've been reading about him the last couple years and he's pretty much the reason why I can't hate Miami anymore. Was gonna say pretty much the same thing. Heh....same. I know that college football is still all about winning, but I hope that he's evaluated on the good he does for those kids too.

    How much does a team really have to prep for Seneca Wallace? He is more mobile than Hasselbeck. So you at least have to prepare for that much.

    It wasn't that I was completely withholding judgement. I'm not pretending I haven't seen years past. If this was Ron Turner's first two games as Bears OC, it'd be different. I guess the only difference I see from previous years to this year is the pass/run play balance. I don't see him using the 2 TE set especially creatively, or doing much to get his best players open. It's only 2 games, and I'll admit if I'm wrong about it as we move on. But so far, I'm unimpressed at best.

    They went 10-6 last year and if Brett Favre can pass against a good defense like the 49ers it means they are quite a bit better than last year's team because the offense isn't one dimensional. Considering the team with the best record from last year is 0-2, the Superbowl champ is 1-1, the Colts don't look as good as last year and have lost some key players and the Patriots are 1-1 they might be the top team. It would be between Minnesota, Giants, Atlanta, Jets and Baltimore. This week the Giants are on the road, Jets play Tennessee and Atlanta is at New England. The only one who has a true easy win is Baltimore but even they play a rival in Cleveland. Why are you ignoring the Broncos? They beat two teams of the same quality (or better) than the Vikings did. More seriously, why are you ignoring New Orleans? They've been the most impressive NFC team so far if you ask me.

    It took you until two games into this season to realize this? That's like somebody just now realizing that Aaron Miles isn't good at baseball. Turner has never had a good QB, a good RB, and good TE's in the same season until this one. He doesn't really have the excuse this year that he has been able to fall back on in previous years....that he didn't have the tools to field a good offense. He does this year...even with mediocre WR play. It's not that I haven't had my doubts about Ron Turner. I think it's just proven that the excuses (admittedly, not given by him, but by defenders of his) don't fly.

    Because Minnesota beat Cleveland, Detroit and San Fran, that would make them the league's top team? Right now it's a tie between Minnesota and Denver right?

    What's to be gained by having him pitch more this year? What are the potential positives and the potential negatives? Do the risks outweigh the rewards? How about the potential benefit of getting another young starter a couple starts in the bigs before the end of the season?

    My only real point is that it wasn't like the Bears were an offensive powerhouse. They were as likely to lose it as to win it...and I definitely don't think we can point at that game as a "success" game for Ron Turner's ability at offensive game planning.

    I didn't see anything wrong with the game plan vs. the Steelers. :confused: Sure, there were times when I wish they would've been less conservative, like the 3rd and long draw and the final FG drive, but they attacked that blitz brilliantly, IMO. 1) They got lucky against the Steelers. They lose that game if Reed doesn't miss a couple kicks. 2) Maybe I'm not giving coaching enough credit here, but it seemed less like game planning and more like Knox and Cutler making some really good plays that accounted for the offense. It just seemed like much of what worked were broken plays that were improvised. I'll give Turner credit for the play with Olsen going vertical down the middle of the field...that was well designed. I just don't have a lot of confidence in him.

    I think Cedric Benson is doing a great job showing that the Bears running game fails for more reasons than the RB. Whether it be coaching, the O-line, or both... If there's a conclusion I've drawn about the Bears in the first two games this season, it's that Ron Turner is not a good NFL OC. He doesn't seem to know how to draw up plays that take advantage of his best players.
