    Pretty much for the same reason that we only have one Movie thread for all movies. It just keeps the forum cleaner. What trouble do you have with browsing the video game thread? It's not like it's so busy it's hard to keep up with. I'm not following what your trouble is with it.

    The Broncos didn't get much of a haul for Scheffler though. Olsen is younger, and so maybe a worth a smidge more, but still. He's a free agent though, no? Olsen is signed for 2 years at what is a team friendly salary. Scheffler is only signed through this year...so yeah...there's that too.

    It would be pretty silly if the suspicions about Sosa were linked to Baker. Just joking around man. THESE ARE SERIOUS TIMES. There's only one thing to do when a multimillion dollar business is found to have employees that cheated. Bonus time!

    Z would have to be considered a "big" name player. The link says "semi-big." I think Z falls under that category. Agreed, and if he knew that a suspension was coming, it could explain his poor performance to start the season. If he knew it was coming, and MLB knew it was him, what would be the holdup in suspending him? Why would they wait this long, if, presumably, they've known about the failed test since Opening Day? Again, this is just speculation on my part. Appeal process? The Cubs are in NY.

    After the second round it doesn't matter anymore, as there are just 2 teams left in each conference. Although the higher seeded team will retain home ice advantage, including in the finals. Right...that part's just like NBA though...

    Well now I hate hockey again then jk...thanks guys...the brackets I'd seen didn't mention that little tidbit. Do they do that after each round, or just after the first?

    I'm with you about trying to use this to get into hockey a bit. I've always had friends that liked hockey, and I've always enjoyed the local minor league teams...but I've just never really been into it... But seeing the Blackhawks in the playoffs has piqued the interest. I can't decide who to root for in that series is the problem. I have more interest in the Predators since I'm much more familiar with the franchise itself, but I probably know more about the Blackhawk team from reading threads here. I guess the Preds being in the playoffs piqued my interest and then them playing the Blackhawks piqued it that much more. For me, I actually understand the game. My roommate in college was a hockey superfan, and he bought an Xbox when it first came out, and NHL was about the only game we'd play for a long time. I actually learned a lot, but as soon as we went our seperate ways, I was done with hockey again. I've watched some playoff games on occasion, but the Blackhawks being in the playoffs, and being highly regarded is definitely adding another level.
