  1. Simmons picked against the Bears. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmonsnfl2010/playoffs/round2&sportCat=nfl Basically he doesn't trust Cutler, and is buying into the Seahawks "rah rah" stuff.

  3. Reilly uses this as an example of Cutler being a prick, but I love it.....
  4. Good stuff.... http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-videos/09000d5d81daa7da/What-s-his-name-Joe
  5. And we have another one before the Super Bowl! ;)
  6. This accurately summarizes my feelings.
  7. Polar opposite of the McDaniels hire, not sure if this will be more successful, though. Should be interesting to see if he goes with Tebow or Orton.
  8. Broncos hire John Fox as HC.
  9. Ok then. Pete Carroll asked if he's afraid of his team getting overconfident:

  11. So they'll have the exact same offensive gameplan? Cuz that seems like a bad idea, since the Bears have certainly watched film of that game.
  12. Lebron says that the karma tweet wasn't even from him. Dude's friends are totally in control of his life. How long till we find out about his dog fighting connections? Like the way I made that huge jump to a conclusion? Pretty impressive if I do say so myself.
  13. Haha...I think he was just saying that the gameplan is dictated by what happens on the field, but it should be good for talk radio fodder.
  14. 2 posts too late...that's gotta hurt.
  15. Next you'll tell me that wearing my lucky jersey doesn't have an affect either.
  16. If the Bears win, but don't cover, it'd be the first time all season that Seattle has lost a game by single digits.
  17. Brandon Jacobs is a FA. Could be a good pair with Forte...if you're ok with dealing with the personality. I'd much rather pair Forte with a more dynamic runner than a bruiser. And I'd rather keep my RBs young than get well worn free agents. Jacobs has almost twice as many carries as Thomas Jones had when they signed him. It seems like there's a lot of times that I'd really like to have a power back that can run over some guys. I think having Forte to pair with him would limit the wear and tear on both backs. I recognize that it's an unlikely scenario for a number of reasons.
  18. Brandon Jacobs is a FA. Could be a good pair with Forte...if you're ok with dealing with the personality. I would imagine Jacobs is going to go somewhere he has a shot to start. The Bears won't offer him that I'd like a bigger back to pair with Forte. Jacobs is a pipe dream for me.

  20. We've been lacking grit since Theriot left.
  21. I thought it was more like watching a monkey throw it's own poop.
  22. Well crap.
  23. Here's the thread: http://www.northsidebaseball.com/forum/topic?f=44&t=58319& But I think this summarizes it best. You're right. I'm not. Because I know in my heart the Packers are the superior team. At the end of the season the records will prove it. You can imagine the 10 or so pages that followed.
  24. I pretty much said that the Packers lost that game instead of the Bears winning because of the 6,000 penalty yards and the Bears could only still squeak out a 3-point win in the final minute. Everyone got all butthurt about it even though if the situation would have been reversed there would have been a few that felt the same way I did. The end. (prepares for the inevitable flamewar) That's a poor summary.
