    Yep, but GM Mike Reinfeldt will be fired. I don't understand firing Reinfeldt and not Munchak, except that Munchak is one of Bud's favorite players. Maybe he'll get the 1 year "Lovie" grace period.

    I'm sure it's a knee jerk reaction and cooler heads will prevail. Players are gonna say silly things in the aftermath of an emotional day like today.

    @ZachZaidman An emotional Devin Hester says he's not sure he wants to play for the Bears anymore. He is furious at Lovie Smith's firing.

    That's bizarre Why, isn't that just a last chance for Lovie & coaches to talk with the team? It's weird that a GM would fire a head coach and then not have some member of the FO talk to the media about that decision.

    I want the right coach and let him determine who the right assistants will be. If Bates is one, great. Otherwise I don't care about keeping people happy right now. Yeah, Jay and B-Marsh should keep each other plenty happy.

    Whoa, great insight there Larry. You had to dig deep for that one? lol, it's obvious, but it's a player saying something somewhat negative about Lovie, which we don't hear.

    If they get an offensive coach, they'll surely have to put a serious focus on it.

    @LaurenceWHolmes #Bears player told me a few weeks ago "Lovie is a great coach, but isn't an offensive guy." 4 OCs in 9 years. Wasn't gonna get another.

    Um. So apparently the Browns say they're going to "begin very quickly to look for a new head coach first, then GM"

    YES. Sean Jensen confirming this. YESYES. That gives you some early indication of what types of candidates they are looking for. An OC that has made the playoffs two years in a row, with Tebow as starting QB and with Peyton.

    @vxmcclure23 Brian Urlacher definitely disappointed about Lovie Smith being fired but he declined to comment on it at this time.
