    Harper is meeting with the Phillies in Vegas on Saturday, so this isn't happening. Convention is next weekens, right? He’s meeting this Saturday with the Phillies. Oops, thought the convention was this weekend.

    Or Bryce is happening and they're waiting for the convention to announce it... please? Harper is meeting with the Phillies in Vegas on Saturday, so this isn't happening.

    I occasionally will listen to MLB network radio on the way to/from the gym, and they are still convinced that Machado and/or Harper end up with the Yankees. Because whenever they have nothing else to talk about, they talk about the Yankees.

    I said yes. Although my confidence level is definitely much lower than it was. I'm choosing to believe that the reason the Cubs have to "clear money to afford even Adam Warren" is because they have Harper money earmarked. Basically I'm doing whatever I can to convince myself.

    I just think there would be too much noise if he was back in the clubhouse and prefer the show be totally on the field. Come on...Chad Noble is dancing around the clubhouse in speedos. And they managed to win a damn WS with Ross there. It's a moot point now, but they'd have been just fine.

    Sources: Boras. The 10 year offer thing I could definitely see being Boras blowing smoke. The White Sox thing I buy, they were always in this to make it look like they were ready to be big boys to their fans and then ultimately bow out/know Bryce and Manny weren’t coming. Yep. Gotta feed into that whole underdog mentality.

    I think it's a great fit. He's a cheap option to fill in for however long Gregorious is out. If they can get anything at all out of him, then they don't have to rush Gregorious back. For the Yankees it’s a fine fit. For Tulo it just seems like an odd choice and place to pick because he might not see as much playing time as he would with other teams, especially if he starts slow and gets buried behind guys. Gotcha...I somehow misread your previous post.

    Apparently the Blackhawks announcement of this deal says that NBCSN will now be the "exclusive regional home for all regular season games, pre-season/spring training, and the first round of the post-season coverage for the Bulls and Blackhawks." So no more WGN for Hawks and Bulls from the sounds of it. Wonder what the White Sox presence will still be on WGN. Outside of the month of April, how often will they need to share coverage on another network if they arent sharing with the Cubs too? I wasn't able to locate information about the White Sox current deal with WGN, because I was wondering the same.

    The Philly headline writer is feeling pretty good today. No one wants to play the Eagles in the postseason, and they know it The Eagles are relaxed and experienced and the team no one wants to face in the NFC playoffs
