  1. Not from the playoffs, but hahaha. http://thechive.files.wordpress.com/2014/04/zdar1.gif

  4. Am I missing a bunch of tough Bears losses to the Rams or something? The Bulls have never beaten a St Louis team.
  5. Oshie and Berglund out tonight.
  6. I'm way over thinking this... How are we defining a "national treasure"? I just think more non-baseball fans probably would name Harry Caray or Bob Uecker before Vin Scully if they were to list baseball broadcasters.
  7. Heh, I'd seen the free throw one...they're all great. EDIT: Here's one that wasn't included...Noah playing defense against Lebron... http://i.imgur.com/d1Yn7KL.gif
  8. Well I hope the Nets are happy with where they ended up.
  9. A lot of pitchers have looked good against the Cubs. This...this is just a terrible, terrible post. Was I wrong? I don't think I'm really stretching to say that the Cubs hitting has not done well. Tanaka may well have been great (I'm only watching gameday) but lets not pretend he's going against murderers row here. Of all of the arguments you could take trying to somehow salve the Cubs not signing him there's probably a dozen ahead of "the Cubs suck so maybe he's not THAT good." Fair enough...but that really wasn't what I was trying to do. Just saying that so far this season, we've seen a lot of pitchers look like Cy Young winners against the Cubs. That's all.

  12. How could you not have heard it? It's catchy as hell and everywhere.

  14. Can't. Miley Cyrus is using the arena that night. Will there be enough time to disinfect it before Game 1? UPDATE! Miley was hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction and her Kansas City show last night was cancelled. The STL show tonight may well be cancelled now as well.
  15. You actually think the Nets are purposely losing to avoid the Bulls? I don't know their motivations for anything but "tanking for the 6 seed" was a story today. Turns out they played their guys tonight and lost anyway, but the story was they were gonna shut down 6 guys for their last two games. If that had actually been the case wouldn't you also surmise they were comfortable slipping to the 6 seed? Yes but I suspect that was as much trying to match up with Miami (4-0 this year) as it is avoiding Chicago Maybe, but they were 1-2 vs Chicago this year and were knocked out of the playoffs by the Bulls last year.
  16. ESPN put out a full panel of picks. 6 have the Hawks, 6 have the Blues.
  17. Kane and Saad both went and got their mullets last night.
  18. Podlesh to the Steelers.
  19. Wizards and Pacers would be a nice road to the ECF.
  20. Can't. Miley Cyrus is using the arena that night.
  21. Apparently the Bulls tried to get Kurt Thomas to come out of retirement for the playoff run.
  22. Barry Trotz out in Nashville.
  23. I'm just glad the playoffs are here and we can put the near meaningless regular season behind us...NBA and NHL.
