Also, was a broken toe really going to heal enough to play over a span of 5 days? @jprutherford No one wants to hear about injuries but FYI, Backes was playing with a broken toe. He did NOT have a concussion. #stlblues @jprutherford He had extreme stiffness, soreness in head/neck area, too. Couldn't defend himself because he couldn't turn head.
