    I have to imagine the only reason would be he is sick of the travel because I cannot imagine that would be more lucrative than his current gig. That can't be a great path to a front office, can it? The other rumors out there had him in contention for the Hurricanes head coaching job. So who knows...might just be rumors and nothing more. He wouldn't outright shoot down the Hurricanes rumor on the radio the other day, but that doesn't mean much.

    last I read was he hasn't skated yet Yeah, he's out for game 6, and they're hopeful he'll start skating in a couple days. Basically, don't count on Shaw for this series.

    Interesting....Dan Bernstein was just talking the draft, and said they did some research, and found that at the end of last season, 30% of the active NFL rosters were made up of guys that were UDFA's.
