    Well of course, the national media will take any chance they get to kiss Favre's rear. Actually in this case it was the fans who are kissing Favre's rear, since they voted on it. NBC fixes it! Rex got screwed last week, and Favre wins in a blowout this week? I smell consipiracy!!!

    Say what? I'm posting from an alternate reality where it doesn't suck to be a cubs fan and bad memories are softened by occasional successes. Or possibly denial. Hey, how are the Bears doing in that alternate reality?

    Chris Simms suffered a ruptured spleen, was taken to the hospital and had emergency surgery to remove his spleen. They are concerned about post operative complications, like pnemonia. He's currently in intensive care. He left the game briefly at the end of the third quarter, and came back early in the fourth. His injury at the time was announced as cramps.     If they can play well in the second half, I think they may get somewhat of a reprieve, but who knows how these guys are gonna play..
