I doubt that Hendry would want a lot for Jones. He hasn't been producing here at the start of the year, and just getting out of that contract would be worth it. Plus that would open up an outfield spot since we seem to have a glut of outfielders. It's kind of weird though...Hendry couldn't find a taker in the offseason, but now after a cold start for Jones, there's interest?

He's hardly the whipping boy. Actually, I always get the feeling of fighting the crowd when I advocate Floyd starting over him. It seems like you have more than a few on your side, and maybe there is a reason you are fighting a crowd. People here are ripping his average. His average was .300 at the start of the game. If your average can drop 70 points in 1 day, you have not had enough at bats base any decisions on. I miss the good old days when we could unite in our hatred of Macias, Neify, or BOOM BOOM Bynum. lets all agree to hate cedeno I miss the good ol days when we hated Jacque.

Iowa is calling Matt. Do people realize that Matt is hitting nearly .300 right now? He's above league average. LOL. A .500ish OPS is above league average? IT'S 25 ABS!!! That's 1/8 of his AB's last year. It's not THAT small of a size. When an 0-6 drops you 60 points on your batting average, it's a small sample size.
