    He apparently apologized to the catcher before his next AB. most likely because yost or another teammate told him to quit acting like an a-hole Oh most defininitely...they showed Yost giving Braun a "stern talking to" in the dugout before giving him an attaboy pat. Braun apologized to the catcher his next AB. But I don't think it's any less sincere than Zambrano's apology to the fans that I'm sure was just as "forced".

    There's no guarantee that NOT making the playoffs will result in an outcome any different than if they did. So I say playoffs = good. Not in playoffs = bad.

    Wood outing. 20K games are more impressive regardless. Not only that, but most metrics say that it's the most dominant starting pitching performance in modern history. Yeah...there were 3 walks in this game...I'd be interested to see the game score though. So? Buchholz has three walks, too. Wood's game was far more impressive. There have been four 20 K games in the history of baseball. There have been 235 no-hitters. Yeah I was referring to Buchholz's game when I mentioned the 3 walks. I wasn't disagreeing. Wood didn't walk any. He had one hit that should have been an error.

    Marshall is at least young enough to continue to develop. I think Marquis is always going to be a first half pitcher. I'd rather dump him if we could, though I doubt that's likely.
