I was able to get Ron Santo to sign two baseballs before today's game (gave one to my old man). I've been told that I appeared on the beginning of the Rangers broadcast of today's game as I was waiting for Ronnie to sign the baseballs, too.
How is it that the Cubs are so poor fundamentally year after year after year? You can blame it on the farm system, but even the free agents we bring in seem to have no clue how to play the game properly. It is so maddening.
