    Look, I am pissed that Pie hasn't been given a fair shake in this whole deal, but I think most of you are completely overreacting to this signing. We haven't been getting much productivity out of CF anyway, so this is a low risk deal with a potentially high reward. Now I don't expect much out of Edmonds, but it is worth a shot at this point.

    This killed me the reasoning might not be good, but there's no reason to shift theriot down in the lineup as long as he's hitting well in the 2 hole. By the same reasoning, do you think should Soto remain in the 6 hole if Fuku moves up?

    No he hasn't actually. He started off 5-10, but is 0-7 since with 5 strikeouts and a GIDP. Isn't that still a .294 average?

    Show me where I said Cuban is solely responsible for the Mavs choke jobs. And if you don't think he plays a big part in trades and player acquisitions, then you are fooling yourself. I think the only place he doesn't input much is in the draft.

    Yea, the way that franchise has totally flourished since he took over has been a complete mirage. (Cue responses about not winning championships ) Forget winning championships. They had the best record in the NBA last year and choked in the first round. They barely made the playoffs this year and now they are about to blow up the whole team and start over. He threw a lot of money at a crappy franchise, got a city excited about basketball, built a stadium, and now charges astronomical prices to see a team play that can't win [expletive]. Why is everyone so enamored with this buffoon?

    A good baserunner doesn't fail to score from 2nd on a double. A good baserunner doesn't get thrown out at third with no outs, especially in a tie game. And that's just the last two days. Theriot may be hitting well, but he needs to sit on the bench and watch Cedeno start at SS.

    Just a little tip for those not in the Chicago area and without the Extra Innings package. I have Dish Network and with it are several alternate sports channels. They will list games from other Comcast and Fox Sports channels, but they are always blacked out. Because the game went so late last night, I flipped back over to the channel where earlier I had seen the Cubs listed and the blackout apparently was lifted when the original broadcast was scheduled to end allowing me to watch the end of last night's game. I know this won't happen often, but wanted to let everyone know for future reference.
