    Yeah, it was probably 17-2. I know it looked odd to me. And I am positive that ESPN had the Cubs up there at 6-1. I was half asleep, but awake enough to see & hear them correctly. Not positive on their source, though.

    Eastern Illinois University has both Shannahan and Sean Payton (and Brad Childress would make 3 if he ever gets another job) Interesting. Never would have guessed it.

    Broncos DC Dennis Allen to be the next head coach of the Raiders. That makes him the 2nd Aggie head coach in the NFL (Gary Kubiak is the other). I wonder how many schools have more than one.

    Yes, it is too bad. He had a terrible lapse in judgment. Doesn't mean anyone should be happy he's dead. Never said I was happy he's dead. The thing that bugs me now is how everyone is canonizing St. JoePa as the greatest man who ever lived.

    That's exactly what I asked him. In addition, I want to know how the market will be better for him when he is 30 than it is now at 27. I'm anxiously awaiting his reply.

    A guy I know posted this on another board. I don't necessarily trust him having "inside sources" at the Rangers any more than I do (I know someone that works in their ticket office) but take this for what it's worth.

    The Sam's Club here takes Mastercard but doesn't take Visa. That seems weird to me. I think that's everywhere.

    Even at that time when I expected us to have a good team I was perplexed by the coaches vote. I thought we'd be 3rd or 4th in the conference at best. Now I'm hoping we don't finish in the bottom 3 or 4.
