  1. Everyone here knows my bias in this discussion but the recruiting classes that Sumlin is putting together are going to guarantee that we won't be a mediocre program anytime in the near future. Our QB recruiting has been especially great, while also adding a ton of much needed talent on the defensive side of the ball. The move to the SEC has been huge for him not to mention the renovation of Kyle Field which started Saturday night after the Mississippi State game ended. Our facilities may not top those of a school like Oregon but they won't be far behind. Without a doubt historically Nebraska & Georgia are much better jobs than A&M. But the discussion is for right now. I must admit that I am a bit concerned about him possibly leaving for an NFL gig, though. As far as Houston goes, I echo the previous statements. I am not a fan of that city at all.
  2. Unless he had a leg amputated, how the [expletive] can Ed Reed be worse than Conte or Steltz?
  3. Texans released Ed Reed. He has GOT to be better than any of the safeties on our roster, right?
  4. The idiot before you did.
  5. I'm more worried about our D than McCown running the offense.
  6. Didn't Tressel get slapped with a show cause penalty? When does that run out?
  7. Boring slate of games.
  8. I'll be surprised if FSU doesn't win easily in Gainesville. Florida is not a good football team.
  9. Winston is a great QB. I'm not overly impressed with Mariota, though. Even before last night. He's very good, but not great IMO.
  10. Who [expletive] in your Cheerios?
  11. It's a shame he wasn't healthy today (and probably won't be again this season). He would have put up an impressive campaign and probably won it otherwise. I don't see why that's funny. Had Oregon run the table he would've been right there with Winston. And if my aunt had a dick she'd be my uncle.
  12. Only player that really interests me for Oregon is Hroniss Granu the center. Lokombo is interesting at LB, I guess. Stanford has a lot of talent of interest. What about that Skov kid?

  14. Attention Heisman voters. You can officially scratch Marcus Mariota off your ballots.
  15. Yeah, I saw Keith Law's tweet, too. I honestly have not. I assume he tweeted something similar?
  16. Rooting hard for OU and Stanford wins tonight.
  17. I don't practice Renteria I ain't got no crystal ball Well I had a million prospects But I ruined 'em all
  18. I watched until the end. The Riess kid was catching a bunch of great hands but Farber was playing like the amateur that he was. He let Riess push him all over and slowly choke all his chips away until he was crushed.
  19. Belichick against Manning only other time I can think of. Didn't work then. I was happy about the decision to go for it although not so thrilled about the actual play call. Thank god it worked, though. Huge, huge win for the Bears last night. Things seem a little bit better when you have scoreboard over the Packers, especially at Lambeau. I was scared to death about going for it and probably would have chickened out myself, but the play call was good. There was no way they were gaining anything up the middle. All you needed was one link of the chain. I hate handing the ball 4 yards backwards in a situation like that. But what the hell do I know? Trestman called the play and it worked so kudos to him.

  21. Huge game that we really need to win if we have any designs on winning the division.
  22. Lovie! Heard he was interviewing for the USC job. No joke.
