    Oh I'm not worried about winning this, just sick of the dumbass defense and Quintana not pitching well Never doubted it either I'm the epitome of optimism when it comes to the cubs. i've never wavered. funny how winning a world series took away a lot of pressure and stuff

I bought it long ago and only played it a few times. it's not that it wasn't fun, i just never caught on to it. getting mono at 34 fucked with me i think and just took me out of my "life rhythm" or something. i may actually give it another try. the funny (sad?) thing is i've watched people play it on twitch more than i've played it myself. anywho, godspeed derwood if this is our thread. i won't hold it against you if you blow this

    haven't chimed in (nobody noticed or cared, I'm sure) but yes, mitchell is going to be good i believe. being an nc state fan (glennon's alum) and having a completely rational and supreme hatred of unc, i'd like to see glennon to do well. and honestly i think he can be a (maybe slightly?) above average starter. BUT, trubisky is the real deal i think. i've watched him play a lot in college and his accuracy is off the charts (especially deep down the field). he was the clear top QB prospect in this draft to me and i wish him no ill will now that he's not wearing baby blue anymore. i'll root for him and hope the bears do well and begin to turn it around. i was most happy about him leaving unc a year early, to be honest. if any of you lived in NC and were not UNC fans, you'd know exactly what i'm talking about. they are basically like cowboy fans and most are totally and completely arrogant and obnoxious. and it doesn't help that you can't swing a dead cat by the tail without hitting like 4 UNC fans.

    i am happy stropy has been pitching so well lately. most notably because if helps the cubs, of course. but, i really, really love that guy. i'll often wear my hats with just a SLIGHT tweak to the right in honor of pedro. i can't pull it off to the extreme that he does but i think it's a good look. won't do a flat bill, though.
