  1. oh ok i gotcha. guess i'm still new. haven't heard about any sexual habits or lack-there-of yet. don't feel bad. i've passed out drunk in much worse situations....
  2. I apologize if it offends you. But the only absolute defense to defamation is truth, and this girl WAS a bitch. Lame rebuttal. Allow me to retort in a similar fashion: Was she a bitch because your drunk ass couldn't get it up and retreated in shame to the computer to post on this board while she ended up falling asleep? you showed him who was immature!
  3. it will make it that much tougher of a pill to swallow when they swing for the fences unsucessfully again.
  4. i think i know why the cubs are 1-5 in extras, they swing for fences every time.....even with the wind blowing in!
  5. can we trade for sexton? I like his plate discipline.
  6. he has given up 2 solid singles in the last 3 ABs and the DP was hit hard as well. I have no problem with the move.
  7. where the heck was pagan and murton playing?
  8. well we now know how far izturis can hit it, about 300 feet would be my guess
  9. jacque needs a call from mr. emanski
  10. its truly amazing that lee is still hitting .330. i have forgotten just how hot he was in april.
  11. zambrano to RF, murton on days he pitches. z sets record for assists.
  12. Inefficient. Yeah, I saw that in the box score too. How's his stuff? Edit: Nevermind, thanks Roast. He hit one batter, almost hit another, his fastball is rolling in at around 91 (though he did throw one 94 a moment ago). His slider is hit and miss, some with good bite but others are spinning a little. It looks a little shaky to me. Rolling up there at 91? i've seen him touch 96 at least once already, and if im not mistaken he just did again...but right now i'm way too far away from my tv to be sure. It's gotten a few MPH better as we've gone along. I'm seeing 94 regularly now. But I've also seen 90's and 91's. his fastball gradually got faster in milwaukee tuesday as well...just hit 97.
  13. Geaux Tigers! When we had those guys, we were winning the CWS! is it too late for the cubs to quit at MLB and try to win the CWS?
  14. on a side note: with soto playing so well in AAA, why isn't he the backup at C rather than hill? isn't he the better of the two prospects hands down?
  15. almost....they saw 9 pitches
  16. i like brenly. he calls it like he sees it.
  17. the ONLY reason i see for jacque is to hopefully get him some AB's and he can go on a little mini-run. It's hard to attempt to trade someone you sell as a starter when they aren't even starting for you. not to say this is what i would do, but i have to believe that is the only reason. ps - the cubs decided to really keep me on my toes as wasted my time at the games the last few nights. i didn't think they had any new ways to lose. i was wrong.
  18. 5 wins in 6 days has me slightly enthused. Gone to atlanta to see the my only 2 cubs games this year. Lets keep this thing headed in the right direction and I get to see more of this: http://d.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/rids/20070605/i/r708863197.jpg
  19. all i know is what the experts have said, and he's supposed to be the best HS hitter in the draft. isn't that a pretty high ceiling?
  20. i didn't have much luck when i searched, but theres a few clips on mlb.com i believe.
  21. the bullpen hasn't pitched much, if at all.
