    Why Theriot when we have Murton and Floyd? because you would have to plug theriot in at SS if you used him to PH for izturis. rather keep murton for later in the game if needed.

    I must have missed the part where one game is the same as the season. i haven't heard anyone agree with you that our defense is no problem. not our biggest problem, but overall, another problem. Rob is right. i know. i'm wrong in all arugements. that goes for the rest of my life as well. i should probably stop disagreeing with people. No one's saying that, but the defense has been pretty good (for the most part) this season. Arguments are good. It's what makes message boards go 'round. alright. i guess i just remember all the idiot plays and not the routine ones. all the bad baseball has just melded together.

    Uhhh... Cubs are 7th in the majors (4th in the NL) in team defensive efficiency. So, in general, if a ball is hit in play, we are very likely to make the play compared to other teams. how many times have we complained about barrets defense? about jacques arm? about jacques defense? about murton's defense in right? there not terrible, but they aren't great by any means. just stupid plays all around. grant me that.
