  1. That's weird. I guess they have different blackout criteria between the two medias. mlb.tv has carried every game this year with the exception of 3:55 Saturday starts and Sunday night games. My cable company doesn't offer EI, but that will be something I'll keep in mind if I ever decide to buy EI in the future.
  2. That's horrible. When I was watching, something seemed a bit off after that foul ball. I think Len paused a few more seconds than normal, or maybe there were more people looking at where the foul ball went, but something just seemed eerie. Nothing would make me happier than to see him throw out a first pitch next year after a full recovery. My thoughts and prayers go out to the child and his family.
  3. Cowherd was right, we just got robbed! :banghead:
  4. Only the gray boxes are blacked out. You're good to go. Then why isn't the game available on Extra Innings? I don't have extra innings, so I have no idea. But I've never been blacked out of a game on mlb.tv that didn't have that dumbass little gray box beside the feeds. Today had better not be the exception.

  6. http://www.accuweather.com/forecast-hourly.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=1&zipChg=1&zipcode=60290&metric=0 Doesn't our resident meteorologist say that weather.com sucks and accuweather.com is the way to go? Still, the 1 o'clock T-storm would suck bc it would mean Harden would probably be knocked out of the game. Oh well, here's hoping the storms miss Wrigley *knock on wood*.
  7. I posted this in the game thread, but concerning the availability of Saturday's game I have concluded that: All year it has been the 3:55 (EST) games that FOX has blacked out. Tomorrow's game was supposed to be 3:55(EST), but got moved to 1:05 eastern. But, ESPN projected schedule still lists the cubs game as a FOX broadcast, which makes no sense. I'm thinking that they forgot to remove the FOX tag when they changed the time and it will be available tomorrow. Note: I'm talking about availability to mlb.tv, I don't have EI, but I would imagine if it's not blacked out on mlb.tv then it's not on EI either. I could be completely wrong, but that seems the most likely scenario to me.
  8. I've been asking this all week and I think the consensus is that no one knows. All year it has been the 3:55 (EST) games that FOX has blacked out. Tomorrow's game was supposed to be 3:55(EST), but got moved to 1:00 eastern. But, ESPN projected schedule still lists the cubs game as a FOX broadcast, which makes no sense. 9. As long as Lou learns for next time. Unfortunately, I doubt he did.
  10. haha, your feed must have been even more slow than mine!
  11. Yes. Marquis doesn't like this, however. He gets to keep his current job, that should make him happy enough. On that note, I hope this good outing has elevated his stock enough to unload him.
  12. I was like "Whaaaa?", *5 seconds later*...YEAH!!!!!
