Yeah but it's like a decade worth of control. Hand has all of this year and then 19, 20 and 21. Cimber has been really impressive and he's got less than a year of service time. Yeah, the amount of years of team control is crazy. Cimber is a good arm and I think this is a great trade for Cleveland. I thought they were sending Mejia+. I mean Mejia might not even stick at C, and his bat might regress. Lots of ways this trade goes south for SD. huh? this trade literally cannot go south because SD is a terrible team and they turned a reliever into what should be an impact bat. Even if Mejia never pans out they got a top 5 prospect for ... relievers. Last year when they tried to move Hand no one offered anything close to Mejia, so this is a huge win for them -

nah itll be sick when scherzer loads the bases and javy gets the NL out of it with an unassisted triple play and the annoucners are like "you know what they always say you make a great play in the field and then you lead off the next inning!" and then baez takes the first pitch out 500 feet to LF off Sale (or strikes out on 3 straight sliders)
