    hendricks' magic is gone. everyone knows that he can't keep his fastball down, so if it's low they just spit on it because it's a changeup out of the zone. And if it's up, that means it's an 85 mph fastball they can crush. I'll be surprised if he ever gets into the 6th inning the rest of the year.

    Yeah but it's like a decade worth of control. Hand has all of this year and then 19, 20 and 21. Cimber has been really impressive and he's got less than a year of service time. Yeah, the amount of years of team control is crazy. Cimber is a good arm and I think this is a great trade for Cleveland. I thought they were sending Mejia+. I mean Mejia might not even stick at C, and his bat might regress. Lots of ways this trade goes south for SD. huh? this trade literally cannot go south because SD is a terrible team and they turned a reliever into what should be an impact bat. Even if Mejia never pans out they got a top 5 prospect for ... relievers. Last year when they tried to move Hand no one offered anything close to Mejia, so this is a huge win for them
