  1. There’s no point in caring too much about these outcomes until they find one league average starting pitcher.
  2. yeah but carpenter is amazing this year
  3. im still recovering from the cardinals trading tommy pham
  4. the brewers are officially ass. it's done.
  5. fucken duke gave solis the bote playbook and now he's just whiffing on high 92-mph fastballs great job duke
  6. we're going to win the first 3-2 no-hitter in mlb history
  7. yeah you're right there's nothing "really bad" about our best offensive player being out indefinitely with shoulder soreness that plagued him for a good chunk of the year. to me when you say "really bad news" that means out for the rest of this season, surgery, possibly career altering, etc. i would have bolded "really" in that instance. i think what's really bad is that shoulder injuries linger and when they occur in-season, they rarely heal until the season is up and a long rest period begins. It's likely that whatever version of Bryant comes back will not be 100 percent Bryant.
  8. Bryant said today he still had no idea when he would play or begin a rehab assignment. There's no "really bad" news coming on this. Theo already said last week that most of the pain has been successfully treated and is only being felt at the extreme ends of his range of motion. Worst case IMO is something like they'll say horsefeathers it and he'll play the last few weeks + the playoffs with whatever lingering issue there is. I don't see how or why they'd suddenly say he needs surgery or something and shut him down for the season. yeah you're right there's nothing "really bad" about our best offensive player being out indefinitely with shoulder soreness that plagued him for a good chunk of the year.
  9. Bryant said today he still had no idea when he would play or begin a rehab assignment.
  10. twins jersey is really hot
  11. while on the one hand never having seen waiting for guffman is a complete indictment of Deshaiezzzzz character, it's not like brenly has ever watched that movie either.
  12. You know Donald trump eats the stupidest pizza
  13. [expletive], THIS WILL NEVER STOP PISSING ME OFF. WHY DID THEY horsefeathering GO BACK. bryant wanted to get his white house authentic maga hat from stephen miller
  14. they're definitely sweeping the nationals after all my histrionics this week
  15. You were just begging me to join the dark side earlier tonight because of how much they were pissing me off. yeah and your response to losing 9-0 to the worst team in the al central was "well actually the cubs would already have 85 wins if they played in the al central" lol
  16. not only is it delusional it's completely pointless. hey if the cubs played in a worse division they'd have more wins (unspoken point: they'd still be the same team regardless so .... cool?) My comment wasn't meant to make the Cubs look better. They are who they are. I was trying to show that the NL isn't some JV league while these AL teams are world-beaters. The gap is inflated by how horsefeathers the rest of the AL is. lol every comment you make is intended to make the cubs look better
  17. So that’s why you won’t get too confident in the Cubs. The ole’ reverse jinx from the Clinton election certainty Oh, I'm pretty sure the Cubs winning it all is somehow partially responsible for President Trump...and that they're damned to not go back to the WS until he's out of office. (I kinda don't want them to win it until he's gone, too)
  18. youre just trolling me at this point lmao Sorry, but it's true. not only is it delusional it's completely pointless. hey if the cubs played in a worse division they'd have more wins (unspoken point: they'd still be the same team regardless so .... cool?)
  19. Top of the NL is the JV this year compared to the top of the AL The NL is 114-98 in interleague play this year. The AL sucks outside of the top teams. Their records are inflated from all these horsefeathers teams they continually play. There are 10 teams in the NL that are multiple games over .500. It's hard to pile up wins when you don't get to beat up on horsefeathers teams every week. And despite the loss tonight, the Cubs are 9-2 when they've played non-Indians AL teams. If the Cubs were in the AL Central, they'd probably be 30 games over .500. youre just trolling me at this point lmao
  20. I want to do it again and again. Oh and again. As desperately? Obviously not. But I wouldn’t say it took any care out. It just got rid of the fear of never seeing it. oh yeah, i didnt necessarily mean the cubs even though its true to an extent. im talking like basketball and football etc ... nothing that ever happens in either of those sports could ever approach 2016
  21. How likely do you think it is that the Cubs win the division? ugh, i'd feel better if i knew bryant was going to come back healthy (or even Darvish.) I still am pretty sure we're much better than the Brewers so ... 75-80 percent?
  22. The world series win really sucked a lot of the care out of sports for me in general, nothing will ever touch it.
