    Bruce, if you have time, I'm getting pretty worried about something. It's obvious that Dusty doesn't like to play Hairston. Maybe I'm off, but it seems that way to me. Everyone is assuming that Hairston goes over to CF now, but do you think Dusty is planning on putting Holly or Burnitz in center? I guess doing that would mean that Murton would get some PT, but it also might mean that Macias starts at second base, and Hairston sits next to Ronny on the bench for 10 days or so. Do you have any idea on what Dusty is planning to do with positions?

    Murton needs to start. If he's up, you need to start him. Greenberg, as much as I love him, is never going to be more than a 4th OF, so I'm fine with a spot start, or just PH duty. Calling Murton up and sitting him is just pointless though.

    You have got to be kidding me. Jesus Christ. Why do people feel the need to speculate on stuff like this? It never fails. Take a look around. If you want debate with no speculation, pick up a copy of Scientific American. There's a huge difference between speculating on "what this move means" or "who will be the starter" and just coming out and saying that someone is a "lying coward" for mentioning an injury. Grow up. I never said speculation was wrong, I said speculation over whether someone is lying, or whether or not someone "cares" is pointless and stupid and does nothing except make you look ridiculous.

    The part that was the funniest was that immediately after getting the ball back in (this part of the play was almost as amazing as the catch itself), he just starts rolling in agonizing pain. Larry Walker comes over and surveys the scene, sees Jimmy crumbled in agony, and waves the trainers over. Jimmy must have told him he was ok, because Walker immediately goes from frantically waving the trainers over to dismissively waving them away, and walking back to right field.

    having billy beane here would be awesome. Theo sort of showed him up last season, you'd think that Billy wouldnt mind tripling his payroll and giving it a shot, he cant be worse than hendry.

    That catch tonight was amazing. Just incredible. The show afterwards was even better. His range as an actor is almost as great as his range in the field.

    Brantley is just as bad as Kruk at "analysis". The only reason Kruk is hated more is because his opinions on everything have to be different than everyone elses. If you asked Kruk, Gammons and Brantley "who is the best hitter in the league?" and Gammons and Brantley said Pujols, Kruk would name someone else.
