  1. then block me. see if i care. You play to win in baseball. You're smart enough to recognize the difference between the two in that sport. Why not this one? Again, who actually won the game isn't as important as other things that go on in games. There's no difference between a 3 point loss and a 3 point win. except in the standings. And rankings. Which matter.
  2. oh my god, every post that contains the word "florida" (except this one) should be erased we go through this same crap every week.
  3. look out world, Percy Harvin is going to break 700 yards receiving this year no. 1 overall draft pick?
  4. oh my god, tebow is on pace for almost 200 yards through the air can anyone stop him?
  5. You go ahead and think that. I hope you are being sarcastic, I really do. Which school can offer Saban the money, the power (he's got full control of the football program, Moore the AD is essentially a figurehead) the tradition that Alabama has. Schools that fit this description (USC/OU/FSU/PSU/Texas) either already have their coaches or they will have their next coach in line to succeed their current coach. And outside of those kind of schools, Nick Saban isn't going to take a step down in the coaching hierarchy, ie leaving Alabama for a school like Clemson. That would be like Mack Brown leaving Texas for Baylor. Do you see that happening? Cause if you honestly do see that happening, please pass me what your smoking cause that must be some good............ Contrary to the pubic persona that Nick has shown, Nick and his family absolutely do love it in Alabama. There are two fears that Nick has admitted to: 1: He will never return to Morgantown, WV. Why? Because even at 57 he still has fear of following his father into the coal mines. Irrational? Yes. But it what motivates the man. 2: Saban has grown tired of being label a merc (I understand why people would call him that and I understand why Saban has grown tired of it). He's not leaving Alabama anytime. Now I understand you may be pushing my bottoms on this subject, and if that's the case, kudos to you kind sir. I just don't see Saban leaving Alabama. Saban has already done the NFL thing THREE TIMES (Browns/Dolphins/Oilers) and a coach of his statute does not take a step down in the college ranks. Put it this way, Pete Carroll is more likely to leave USC then Saban is to leave Alabama. pubic persona? pushing my bottoms??? coach of his statute????
  6. you can watch it on espn.com How's that? espn360 go to the scoreboard on espn.com and click on "watch now"

  11. i believe we have found the heir to soul's throne
  12. I do like the sound of this. Would he be the most tatted out manager ever? Until Josh Hamilton decides to start managing. WESHOULDAKEPTHIMASMANAGER i don't understand why the entire board thinks he would be a great manager. all i hear on here all day is what a great manager josh hamilton would be. i feel like i'm *some kurt russell character* on *some kurt russell movie*.
  13. it's actually more embarrassing that that idiot is as stupid as he is when it comes to baseball considering he's around the team on a day-to-day basis
  14. Oh, most of us probably weren't born when it came out then. we're like the same age just admit that you weren't as cool as me when you were younger, it's not like that would be a surprise, anyway Us southsiders can't hang with the Oklahoma elite. It's not even fair. i guess being an 8-year old with a meth addiction would have made it hard to afford the newest cds

  16. how have you idiots never heard of she's got skillz that song had all of us as preteens saying that any girl we thought was hot had skills. "tiffany? oh she's got skillz." we had no idea what we were saying
  17. they only had more than one hit because all the white people thought they were boyzIImen
  18. THUNDER FANS, PLEASE WELCOME TO MIDCOURT ..... ALL 4 ONE SHES GOT SKILLZ
  19. the girl-half of the C&C was CLEARLY lip synching also, there are almost no words to the actual song, so the guy-half was just ad libbing stuff like "oklahoma city's in the house ... THUNDER in the house" over the beat. ALSO, ALSO, we saw the debut of the Thundergirls, the dance group/skank troupe. they introduced them name by name, and after each individual was named, that particular girl would do some special dance move so it was like "AND INTRODUCING ... CANDY!" and the spotlight would shine on Candy, she'd do a twirl and kick her leg up or something and they would move on. the finally got to one girl, called her name, put the light on her and all she did was shake her boobs. no twirl or anything, just a little boob-shimmy and that was it. it was fantastic. i told the guy next to me that i used to date a thundergirl, but i broke up with her when she gave me the thunderclap. all that got me was a nervous "don't talk to me anymore" laugh, but i feel like i can use that joke again at the next game
  20. i was hoping apache would come out for halftime
  21. BY THE WAY (for my 9th post on this page) you wanna know who did the pregame for the opener? the one, the only C&C MUSIC FACTORY EVERYBODY DANCE NOW it was the most vh1 moment of my life i felt like i was in the third grade again, listening to a jock jams tape
  22. it got to the point where every time it looked like one of the bucks' big men would easily get a defensive rebound, he would come flying out of nowhere to spike it on the ground EDIT Here's the 3-pointer (don't make fun of the seats, everything was way overpriced on the secondary market for the opener) http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a47/madhops_42/rws3pointer.jpg
  23. Always a good time to link to Petrick's Baseball Cube page. :? ahahaha, you've got to be kidding me
  24. The Clippers sure could have used Elton Brand yesterday. the okc crowd has already adopted russell westbrook, by the way. i mentioned it in the post above, but it's amazing how many loose balls he creates. Carleisimo played Watson the entire 1st and 3rd quarters, and let westbrook have the second and fourth, and it seemed like every time someone (JEFF GREEN ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ) missed a jumper, westbrook came soaring out of nowhere to knock it out of the defensive rebounders hands. he hit a 3 from the left wing that capped a run and cut the lead down to 11 (after it had been in the mid 20s) and the crowd erupted. I can't see him not stealing watson's minutes by midseason.
  25. I was there, too. The problem was Durant's foul trouble in the first half. He's the only guy on the team that can create his own jumper (Westbrook can get to the basket, but he's not going to come off a screen and hit a 15-footer) everyone looked better once Durant established that he was going to actually make a few shots. Westbrook looked good. he has this amazing ability to come swooping in and knock rebounds loose. I've never seen anything like it. I'm not sure how great it is for the transition defense, but he plays so hard, it's tough not to like it. Our interior "presence" is terrible and will be all year. WIlcox is an undersized 4, collison can't play with his back to the basket and i don't know why they let petro's preseason get him into the starting lineup. We need (NEED) a legit big man in the draft. BJ Mullens or Blake Griffin (assuming you're not 6'7) come on down.
