  1. BRING BACK QUINCY CARTER by the way, i think the last few weeks have probably killed all of the "tony romo isn't that good, he's just surrounded by great talent" stuff
  2. He can't come back out after halftime and still be starting can he? There's bad and then there's brad. lol, here he comes
  3. well then it appears i win
  4. i hope this isn't a kevin durant dig because we've officially adopted him and he only went to class at texas for one semester anyway
  5. you took that poster down when he spurned the longhorns to play baseball OH WAIT you weren't a texas fan then, you were rooting for florida and, let's see, who else was good then, probably nebraska, they were pretty fass
  6. and the entire time you've been posting with one hand while staring at a shirtless poster of tim tebow
  7. if only they had beaten crappy ole miss, then they could be ranked no. 1 and we could spare ourselves 12 pages of this crap every week herbstreit said it best tonight. florida is the best team in the nation but you have to punish them for losing to ole miss.
  8. tim tebow is on pace to become the 9,087th quarterback in college history to throw for more than 2,000 yards and 20 TDs in ONE SEASON
  9. lol
  10. Hahaha, I went to this game. 7 of those 21 points came when a defender INTed a bubble screen pass and took it for a TD. It was when OU scored their 4th TD when I started watching the UT/Tech game from my seat in the student section. Usually where I sit, I can turn around and watch other games on the TVs in the club seats. yeah, i'm in the office today and we switched over to ttu-texas after OU jumped up 21-0
  11. what does this do to the top 25? unfortunately texas is already ranked no. 1, so we can't move them up after their dramatic close loss to texas tech. they stay at no. 1. we're looking at one play (a great pass from harrell to crabtree) that decided the game and honestly that could have gone either way, so texas tech probably falls out of the top 10.
  12. CHAOS REIGNS
  13. HOLY CRAP
  14. (AP) — Texas suffered the worst loss in school history in its 33-32 win over Texas Tech on Saturday. The win is expected to drop the Longhorns behind Texas Tech in the standings. The Red Raider's loss matched their biggest win of the season.
  15. actually if texas scores here and then kicks the extra point, and it ends up being a one point longhorn win, then the red raiders should not receive a loss, since the extra point doesn't really count for anything and the game is really tied and going to overtime. man, this is so confusing all close games should just be tossed out, a win is the same as a loss, a loss is the same as a win only blowouts will count in mephball Where do you rank Ball State? unranked mephball only recognizes national powerhouses

  18. if texas tech wins, can we even bump them up? this win is as good as a loss
  19. duh you rank florida no. 2 because of the strength of their 3-point loss to ole miss it's the same as a win actually if this score holds (TTU up by 3), we've got to keep texas at no. 1, because this 3-point loss that's as good as a win is better than florida's 3-point loss that's as good as a win.

  21. i bet chase daniel is keeping track
  22. texas better win this game, i can't imagine how bad these threads will be when meph is making excuses for them, too.
  23. i've already turned it
  24. what you're missing is that no one cares about any of what you're saying florida is the best team in college football, despite their loss? yippee. too bad they dropped a home game to a miserable team and sabotaged their own chance. all of this is just your weekly attempt to soothe yourself because they dropped a should-have-been cakewalk.
  25. You see this is why you're wrong. Let's look at your real argument here. I will translate your argument into what you are really saying. You tell me if it sounds smart to you. In college football we have less games between opponents linking them up together. They also play a lot less games. In baseball, we play 162 games, with a lot more overlapping between opponents. Therefore, wins and losses tell us more in football, because they play less games. That's insanity. Wins and losses over 162 games in baseball tell us a lot more than Wins and losses in football after 12 games. What actually happens in the games matters even more in football than in baseball because there are so few games. What's the difference in a game decided by a touchdown or less? One call? One big play? C'mon. W-L are not that important when it comes to analyzing how good teams are. No, but they play a huge part in deciding who gets to play for title games. Meanwhile, every week we get to play "watch meph blow smoke up his own ass" in the college football threads.
