  1. oh f you, buck
  2. lol, you dont throw it to the white guy on 4th down, come on what is this, high school
  3. has he puked yet
  4. even andy reid's good kids will be popping pills after this one
  5. they're gonna run this down to the 3 min mark and kick a field goal, and mcnabb is going to lead the eagles down the field for the game-winning FG try as time expires, leaving it all up to akers who will redeem himself
  6. either way it should have been eagles ball where it touched the guy's elbow, what are you geeks crying about
  7. why dont you write a front page article about it? or hasn't baseball america commented on this yet?
  8. why does everyone talk about how fun cold-weather football games are but then complain about how miserable cold-weather baseball games are
  9. i can't wait to get another season of whiny cubs fans crying about the cardinals not going away and then seeing st. louis finish 15 games back in the standings (also seeing another one of their players die. here's hoping it's ankiel)
  10. http://www.chicagotribune.com/media/photo/2009-01/44576019.jpg this looks like someone messed up a painting
  11. the true okie drinks busch light
  12. sorry, it's the most surreal thing ive seen on a basketball court since those little country bumpkins from okc knocked off chicago, new york and detroit in one week
  13. hahahah, a providence guard caught an inadvertent elbow and his buddy ran onto the court during the free throw to complain to the refs. that was the most surreal thing ive seen on a basketball court since the palace brawl
  14. what terrifies me is that we're sort of getting a st. louis-like "best fans in basketball" thing going on where all the fans call in and talk about how great the crowd was every night and all the reporters ask the players about the home court advantage the fans give them after every game. its not so bad now with no one paying attention to us, but with durant, westbrook, green, three first round picks and like 25 mil in cap room, we could theoretically be decent quick and it's going to be real lame to have everyone patting themselves on the back all the time.
  15. im gonna go grab something to eat. i'm thinking about calling espn radio and talking about the LA rams legacy and how it affects me as an oklahoman.
  16. your diet is 90 percent cheese anyway
  17. you mean coyote, which im assuming exists in wisconsin, too. accept your inner hick, you're worse off than an oklahoman
  18. basketball is for city dwellars? oh god, that's hilarious. you mean those fancy city folk like in NY and chicago, that we draw as many fans as? i forgot all about the farms that make up 99 percent of oklahoma city. phew, thank god they installed parking areas for everyone to tie up their horses and wagons at the ford center. another swing and a miss, i guess it's back to complaining about refs in the college basketball threads for you
  19. speaking of the hornets, the two years they were here, we outdrew that history-laden sonics franchise each time, even though everyone knew it was only a temporary arrangement. one more strike and you're out
  20. just like whatever arena the thunder play in will sit empty in few years because no one took the time to learn the name or the directions to the place because no one ever bought tickets. might as well give an nba team to minot, i'm sure a few people on this board would go to games. it may even give the local newspaper a reason to add a sports page. and i lived in seattle for a few years, i had enough time to become a casual fan. i've been to key arena way more than i've been to the united center. despite the worst record in the league, okc is 10th in percentage of seats filled. a higher percentage than seattle has had in any year this decade. sorry sucker, you're out of your league. go read some chomsky or something and stick to what you're almost knowledgeable about
  21. The last two years I got to see a lot of the top HS teams in the state play, but now that I'm strapped to a desk, I'm sort of out of the prep loop. when it comes to college baseball, i usually just go watch Arkansas games, the environment is far better than at OU or OSU. The last I heard about Oliver was about a week ago, when he was readying some lawsuit or something against the ncaa. not sure on how far it's gone. Is there anyone at owasso worth keeping an eye on this year?
  22. hey why dont you guys see if you can make every post in this thread complaining about the refs
  23. this all reminds me of the faux-outrage by the sports superfans out there when the whole deal went down with the sonics coming to okc. in an effort to make sure everyone knew just how in tune they were with the sports world, people with no connection to seattle would be lamenting the move. you'd log on to espn.com and read "All the sonics' history is gone forever! i feel sympathy pains! - Joe in fort worth, texas" never mind the fact that all the history is still there, waiting in the key arena for some poor owner who doesn't care that he'll only draw 11,000 fans a night.
  24. time to start rooting for florida
  25. jesus, blake griffin is a monster
