  1. chelsea needs one guy who can attack a defense on his own and get a good shot. Really they only have Willian capable of that and it's really hurting them the last two months or so.
  2. I just have my doubts that they can sync up exactly when the ball is kicked (is it when they initially touch the ball or when the ball comes off the foot?), where the defender is and where the attacker is when it’s that close like that. This isn’t like whether or not the ball crossed the goal line. The one today that I assume you’re referring to was in the Spurs game. It looked to me like the furthest body part forward on the Norwich player was his shoulder. Where does the shoulder end and the arm begin? Arm can’t be offside because you can’t score with your arm. So theoretically it’s a clear are you offsides or not but because the line isn’t stationary, it isn’t that simple. it's first contact with the ball not when it leaves the foot. Lampard continuing to try to improve the offense by benching his best attacking player. Chelsea is not good. ehhh he has a leg injury supposedly. Unless you mean Jorghino in which case he rectified it 30 minutes later. But chelsea is not good. but really only three teams are so whatever, just gotta be top of the middle class, which is exactly what i aspire to be
  3. i feel like im reading posts from 1998
  4. while these are fun experiments, i think people are going to great lengths to propose outlandish ideas that will never happen because we all know that the roster is unfixable in its/ownerships' current state. But no one wants to commit to a full blowup because we literally just did that.
  5. seems kinda obvious to me if the nats sign donaldson, bryant goes to the braves if the braves sign donaldson, bryant goes to the nats
  6. imagine having so much free time that you can categorize favorite individual pitches that a minor leaguer threw in an entirely different organization a year ago
  7. trying to build a ten-year contention window or whatever is almost always a complete failure and I get sick of teams attempting to draw out a window rather than cashing in on one. Trading Kris Bryant now so you can hope to be better position in 2021 is most likely going to end with 85 wins in 2019 and 85 wins in 2021.
  8. so much for draining the swamp
  9. FYI i was the only good poster in this thread yet again
  10. this feels like something that should have been hand-written and snail-mailed to like three dozen newspapers across the country
  11. well now i dont know what to root for
  12. Look IF Olivia Mann slides in my DMs what does that tell you? She obviously wants to move to oklahoma and be my wife.
  13. Oh, by the way, tomorrow night Paul O'Neill has to catch a fly ball in his hat.
  14. Is that good? Yes dumbass it’s real good. Seriously how do you not know that? Of course it’s good. Jesus Christ. Idiot.
  15. 1.) contreras was butt in lf when he got regular playing time there 2.) the only outfield position he could maybe even remotely pass at is LF which also happens to be the only outfield position we have a semi-competent bat in already i mean i can't believe some of the takes in here. we should trade him for prospects? So we can start Caratini in a season where we're trying to contend. Jesus christ almighty.
  16. Thank you for taking the initiative to write this personally
  17. Emotional Addison Russell laments postgame that Almora's foul ball didn't hit his ex-wife
  18. zobrist not derwood
  19. did she give this horsefeathers aids
  20. whats really frustrating is we need to kill one of these guys to send a message and we sent freakin happ to iowa
  21. i do enjoy the thought of theo getting pissed off while watching heyward and darvish and chatwood blow goats because he's smart enough to know it's his fault
  22. Theo said there could be major changes if the players didn’t perform to expectations right? Obviously super early to even begin to consider it but horsefeathers it I’m bored, whose hitting the road? this is ian happ's fault obviously
