Lol I’m not the one claiming some secret knowledge of this mystical apparently homogenous group of people because my wife is Choctaw and “I actually try to help them ok.” But sure I crossed a line, right. Imagine giving us your in depth thoughts on black lives matter and then defending yourself by saying umm my wife is black ok. Want me to prove it? “For shizzle.” I told you to suck a dick, not "fo shizzle", fwiw. What's troubling to me is your intellectual dishonesty about this. I'm almost 100% certain that if I were to make the claim that my extensive personal interactions with NA's leads me to conclude that most of them want all of these things gone, then I doubt I'd have gotten the same kickback from you or anyone else. I'm also amused, especially coming from a journalist, how merely stating an opinion derived from personal observation is somehow a claim of "secret knowledge". That's really the ultimate issue here and it's quite transparent: you ultimately disagree with my assertion so you have to attempt to discredit it by attacking the legitimacy of how that observation was gained. No. We actually happen to at least partially agree on a good deal here. If you were going to rank them in terms of severity, the football team's name is the worst, and the others fall somewhere underneath. The difference, the true "ultimate issue," is that I don't deign to speak on behalf of a group of people of which I am not a part. You do. Is Braves offensive? I don't know. Is Indians offensive? The logo certainly is. I don't know about the name. If someone told me it was offensive to them, I would nod and take their word for it. Who am I to choose what portion of a population must be offended before it counts as "significant." But you have a native wife and a native son so you have gained insight into this arcane knowledge. Im sure you think I'm just being a dick here, but I'm not. The world is full of men like you. Men who work with a minority population, feel good about themselves for doing it, and then imagine it imbues them with some deeper knowledge. All the hallmarks are there. the "90 percent study" that everyone who read beyond the headline knows is phony, and was written entirely for men who already have their minds made up on the subject. The native wife who has "earned" you the right to speak for the tribes. Speaking of them as one homogenous group of people with one single mindset. "Well my father in law in choctaw so I think I would know how native americans feel about this." You do not.

I've lowered myself to work for them? How dare you. How exactly do you think this is playing? You know a couple Choctaw words, congrats. Go back and read how you’ve talked about native Americans, this group of people you’ve lowered yourself to work on behalf of a few times so now you get to speak for them. Good for you dances with wolves.

Look I married an indian, I “earned the right” to quote flawed studies and determine that native Americans just aren’t offended by this.

having a native son doesnt give you the ability to decide how many offended people count as significant. you just black friended us

The concept of a white southerners deciding arbitrarily what percentage of native Americans can get offended by something before its significant is amazing. I can’t imagine the thought process that led to not only thinking that but expressing it

    lol
  8. Kovacic awful pass, rudiger concedes a corner, which chelsea cant defend, for no reason. Kepa runs into his own man. Azpilicueta just kinda sits there trying to box out a guy who might as well be shaq compared to him, and abraham sits on the post and tries a bicycle kick clearance into his own goal, misses, and the ball casually rolls in. you love to see it lol
  9. and earns willian another goal edit: this sponsor logo is capital B brutal
  10. Lampard is doing the same thing to Tammy that he did to pulisic. Create competition for the spot, then bench him and test him to earn it back. Plus he has a whole contract situation going on.
  11. ehh, i like mount well enough. he does exactly what the other midfielders dont, but his chaos ball style probably only works against certain matchups. Pulisic needs to start. After he was benched this year (rightfully imo) he came back hot and Lamps left him in until the injuries piled up. Without him the last two games Chelsea would be out of the top 4. I think he'll start from here on, he's really the only winger who can both create and finish (outside of the 2 times a game Willian does something worthwhile.) Next year there's going to be a lot of swapping in and out, especially if they somehow get Havertz, and its probably for the best for pulisic since he is slight and does tend to pick up injuries. Gilmour has to play more in the midfield and Ziyech does as well obviously. Kante will be at CDM to cover for the whack CBs, so you're kind of running out of room, particularly if they want to play Werner on the wing with abraham or whoever in the middle.
  12. Still got tiddies
  13. horsefeathers yes woke stone cold

Even if the Jets won the Superbowl, which they won't, no one would care about the Jets. Its the nfl thread. No one cares about any team but their own. If Tom wants to post about the Jets, who cares? If you don’t like Tom, ignore him. But you know Dylan, just gotta cyber creep cuz he’s nothing more then a horsefeathering wanna be Texan anyway.. i guess thats the dick you want to suck too now? totally normal behavior lol

    SHUT UP ABOUT THE JETS
  18. im less concerned with how much control jordan had over the doc (because duh) and more surprised at how closely it follows "Playing For Keeps." It's essentially shot-for-shot!
  19. https://twitter.com/willcolon66/status/1253849227509325824/photo/1 good to see you on goodell's zoom tonight
  20. i've noticed that happen to me before if im browsing on a computer that's not logged into a twitter account
  21. I went on a Jordan kick a couple years ago and got both Playing for Keeps and The Life. Both great books. I haven't read Jordan Rules in forever but will probably get back to it at some point. I haven't read any of them in quite a while. It's really interesting to read them in the current player empowerment era. There's so many times, at least once or twice per chapter, where you're just like what the horsefeathers
  22. I'm reading Playing For Keeps again too. I like it better than Jordan Rules.
  23. Honestly, the dynasty was probably close to being done anyway. Like was said, that Pacers series was brutal. The Jazz were right there most of the games and were kind of a tough matchup. That being said, I would have loved to seen them let Phil go and let the rest of the team make a run just to see how it ended. Scottie's contract made that tough, but if Jordan was there I think he would have been. The strike shortened season is whatever. The Knicks team that won the East as an 8 seed was the same the Bulls used to beat up on. Them against the twin towers of the Spurs would have been interesting. But I would love to have seen the Bulls, slightly retooled with role players vs. Phil Jackson and the 99-00 Lakers. Jordan and Pippen in the twilight against a prime Shaq and young Kobe, with Phil as the coach. If not for Jordan getting his dad killed and Krause's ego, the Bulls could have legitimately threatened the Celtics 11 rings in 13 years with 11 straight. Watching Pippen and Jordan age would have been one thing. Watching an aging MJ with a young McGrady would have been pretty interesting as well though. But Phil would have probably bailed and if MJ was serious about not playing for anyone, but Phil, that wasn't gonna happen either. So the hypothetical becomes if you would possibly trade the 6th championship for building around McGrady in 97/98 if that trade happens. the answer to this is not yes
  24. that's what i was thinking last night. It's just unfathomable how this went down. If horsefeathering fat horsefeathers jerry krause is saying hey guys this winning championships thing is great but what about drafting eddy curry instead, don't you just say get the horsefeathers out of here, idiot. I mean you already have michael and scottie, someone else can't sign bill wennington and steve kerr? Well Krause did go get Scottie too. And Grant during the first 3 peat. Not sure everyone appreciated a sharpshooting specialist like Kerr as much as he would obviously be highly valued today. Krause had his share of clunkers, but he did do a nice job building around Michael. I don't know if he was necessarily wrong to want to want to get out of the downside of an aging Pippen. The Jackson tension was a little different obviously and more egregiously his ego getting in the way it seems. If he threads the needle though, MJ could have carried a good team into his late 30s while you rebuilt around him on the fly. As it was he basically lost that battle in 97 and JR forced all the chips go in for 98, then Krause just got to do his rebuild with whatever he could get out of Kukoc, Kerr, Longley, etc and the rest walking. But there were a lot of other forces aiming towards that breakup, Krause just wanted to light a match on that kindling asap. the minute your horsefeathers GM says hey lets do this move that alienates the best player of all time and makes him retire you fire him on the spot.
