  1. I'm just stupid. I had read that the plan was to use him a stop-gap and then sign CP3 when he was available, which is summer 12, not summer 11.
  2. pretty much
  3. ha, don't get me started, I could go off on about 20 tangents... i would argue that felton is a huge loss long-term. huge. this was his last year there anyway, they weren't gonna re-sign him
  4. i think the knicks and the nuggets just basically swapped rosters
  5. yeah but once you factor in the ref conspiracy, it's even more impressive!
  6. I just might have to join you... Dang... if it was a weekend game, I would drive over to see that game. I called the Owasso coaches today and they said Bundy wasn't going that day.
  7. I heard this morning that Jose Ceda was banned from pitching until he loses 10 pounds
  8. thank you, what would you rate as the most comprehensive of metrics? and which one for this particular case A pitcher's ERA while he's on the field Compare ERA with bases empty vs runners on I guess the true measure would be to check the catcher's ERA while he's on the field. Latin laziness often has an effect on a catcher, which also has an effect on the pitcher. It's trickle-down. Real heavy stuff

  10. I'm not even sure what he's trying to say. He says Rose is on a hot streak, rather than developing into a great player. No way to really prove that, I guess, other than to wait and see. Says he dislikes Rose because he apparently won't become a complete player. Again, he doesn't know this, he's just saying it as if it is a fact. It's a lot of mumbo jumbo. Most likely, he doesn't like Rose because he doesn't play for his favorite team. He was on Boers and Bernstein and basically said that it isn't an indictment of how good he is or his relative value; just an aesthetic issue. He doesn't enjoy Derrick's game because it's just physical exploitation over less gifted individuals and there isn't much art to it. Which is true, but its something I aesthetically love. It's a very predatory, almost shark-like style. He's a smaller, stupider Blake Griffin, and no one complains about BG physically dominating people.
  11. it's called "Dusty busters"
  12. I did. UPDATE: he was not receptive
  13. Can James still do his thing? He's gotta be pushing 30 now. He went between the legs from the FT line a while back.
  14. they really should just take james white out there and let him do his thing every year
  15. My biggest issue with it now is all the missed dunks. You know what MJ, Vince, and Nique great? They all did it on the first try. That and they didn't need a thousand props to catch an alleyoop and dunk it with two hands. Oh and I hate Kenny Smith. the degree of difficulty on some of those dunks is so off the charts now that a couple of misses per attempt is pretty much going to be a staple
  16. god just look at that awful body language
  17. Must be a Texas thing. God i love seeing this
  18. I just might have to join you... Cool, hit me up if you do. I'll buy you a beer Pepsi
  19. I'm gonna go see Archie Bradley and Dylan Bundy face off on Wednesday. Well, assuming they're facing each other. I guess I should say I'm checking out BA vs. Owasso
  20. Actually Ramirez and Castro are the only 2 that haven't reported. Soriano showed up recently. As long as they're not white. kaplan can absolutely not tell the difference between soriano and castro, anyway
  21. To expound on this, the Bulls are going to be the only team to defeat every team in the Western Conference. Boston, Atlanta and Miami were swept by Dallas, Orlando was swept by Utah, and everybody else in the East is terrible. Well, the only team in the East to do it at least. Well, technically that was what I was indicating by qualifying "every" team in the West. No West team has beaten every East team yet, either (Spurs haven't beaten Celts/Heat, Lakers haven't beaten Heat/Magic/Hawks, OKC hasn't beaten Heat/Raptors). No team in the West can EVER beat every team in the West. Because a team in the West cannot beat itself. we actually did this last week against GS
  22. im way too cool and manly to care how a bunch of teenagers choose to announce what college they're going to. that seems like a real redflash kind of tree-murdering thing.
  23. I pray to god that the bulls and celtics meet (healthy) in the playoffs. What an epic that would be.
  24. All it would take for the Lakers to completely fall apart is a Bynum injury. I really think he's what's separating them from tumbling into the abyss of Hornets/Thunder/Mavs etc
