    the heavy bat thing always seemed like a self-fulfilling prophecy to me, anyway. Every time he struck out on a check swing, someone would say "IT'S CAUSE OF THE HEAVY BAT." But no one ever checks if he's striking out on check swings more than anyone else does.

    I'm curious as to how imb! will use this for one of his now customary giant, red "NO" posts. Rose's demolition of the Bucks won me a bunch of money in vegas, so there's a temporary moratorium on those posts. They will return as soon as i spend that money.

    It's Chicago's fourth game in 6 days, two of which were extremely narrow, hard-won victories. And now they're playing a pretty well-coached, athletic team. 82 games, it happens. It's not like the Bulls are some unstoppable juggernaut.

    I don't know anything about Wisconsin, and outside of Martin and Pullen, I don't know much about KSU. I wasn't looking at the TV, but when Bruesewitz hit that 3, i didn't have to look to see what team he played for. No one named Bruesewitz will ever play at KSU
