    If I'm not mistaken, the Smokies roughed him up earlier this season. Of course he's on fire right now. Yeah, last 10 games 4-1 1.04 ERA 74/19 60 innings, just 34 hits allowed. I think we put 6 on him in early April though.

    they aren't. Sorry, Polanco is 125 points behind him. I hope he can run like the [expletive] wind. Ryan Roberts is *only* 56 points behind him. He'd have to be one hell of a defender.

    He's not a full time 3B, so I'm not sure how they'd handle that. He plays 2B and OF as well. Regardless, I don't see how Roberts has been better. He has stolen 12 bases, but Aramis leads him in AVG, OBP, OPS, SLG etc etc. Polanco on the other hand has a .681 OPS and 3 steals. He OPSed .583 in May and .545 in June. He's been absolutely terrible outside of April. Unless he's the second coming of Brooks Robinson he has no business in the all star game. The only one who has any claim in my eyes is Headley. nobody disagrees that aramis has been better offensively. defense and baserunning matter a lot more than you're giving them credit for. also, you're giving aramis way too much credit for having a higher SLG. OBP matters a lot more and he's just about tied in that stat with polanco and roberts. LOL. Yes, technically the fact that he leads them each in OBP by less than 0.010 means he is "just about tied." But I'm not sure what point you're going for since he's, you know, ahead of them in that category.

    Obviously you don't want to judge a guy in the middle of a super hot streak, but he's .327/.356/.446 right now as a 21-year old. I don't care if he's a leftfielder. At his age, I'll take it.

    That Thursday night game last year between San Diego and ... someone ... was honestly the most embarrassed I've ever been about myself as a sports fan. I'm at my girlfriend's mom's house, kicking it with her family, and in the worst mood of my life because I sat Vincent Jackson and he had like 3 touchdowns and scored about 40 points. I couldn't even explain to anyone why I was cussing at the TV because I was too embarrassed.

    Perhaps tampering rules only apply to players that are property of another team? I really don't know. Seems awfully shady. Yeah either way it shouldn't be allowed. He didn't do any workouts, interviews or medical exams for any team. Today they're saying his agents shut him down so miami could draft him, but the thunder drafted him anyway.
