    So far in the last two weeks, I've heard/read from different commentators, you should never draft an: • offensive lineman in the top 10 • wide receiver in the top 10 • running back in the first round • tight end in the top 10 • linebacker in the top 10 • safety in the top 15 • most quarterbacks are too risky for the top 15 i hope there's lots of DL and CBs available

    He decommitted basically on signing day after repeatedly telling everyone that he was staying, preventing Illinois from having a chance to replace his decommit. Thus the irony in being upset about someone telling him he was staying and then turning around and trading him. And then he went and said Illinois fans were sending him death threats, and when pressed on the threats, told the reporter that they were death threats in the manner that they wanted him to fail at basketball. Hahahaha

    Works for me ;-). Seriously wtf is happening in Norman. Mario Edwards pretty much ripped OU after his visit, and he was loving them after the RRS. I'm cautiously optimistic on DGB, though he is hiding his recruitment better than anyone right now. I think if his family was closer to Austin I would feel very good, or if the QB situation was better. i dont know, the whole thing is a debacle. no one can decide which coaches or players they hate more. The only upside is that all the idiots in this state that live for nothing more than OU football are pretty much hating their lives right now.

    i dont follow recruiting until it gets really close to signing day, but i'd imagine the odds of DGB going to OU have dwindled severely since it appears we're going to be watching Blake Bell run the ball 57 times a game next year.

    Matt Garza -vs- Prince Fielder - 9AB, 3H, 3 2B, 4RBI, 1BB, 2K (vs - Cubs - 225 AB, 65H, 21 2B, 12 HR, 38 RBI, 50BB, 54K, .289/.427/.551 & .978 OPS) Albert Pujols - 9AB, 2H, 1 2B, 1RBI, 2BB (vs - Cubs - 311AB, 94H, 22 2B, 26 HR, 61 RBI, 53BB, 34K, .302/.406/.624 & 1.030 OPS) I don't think that the loss of Pujols and Fielder from the NLC is going to affect Garza as much as it is going to help the Cubs lose two big thorns in their side. oh come on what is Fielder's OPS in that 9-game sample? like 1.500 or something
