yeah i think ramsdale is really good but that's admittedly from me watching like 8 arsenal matches. i kinda wonder how much turner can really improve given that he's already like 27 and kinda came outta nowhere the last few years. but still that's a nice pay bump to play in cup games and practice and suffer through shitty english food

Maybe he should just become a mid sorry i meant if they move james to RCB it would open up a spot at RWB assumed azpiliceuta goes elsewhere. chilwell's backups are Alonso (surely gone in the summer) Emerson (on loan at Lyon, likely gone in the summer) and a 12 year old named Ian Maatsen. Chelsea get a lot out of the WBs, look how many G/A James and Chilwell have had this season. Alonso too. They're really midfielders.

The dest to Chelsea smoke is getting thick. On the one hand chelsea gets a lot of rightful criticism for their attack being kinda whack but they expect and get a lot out of their wingbacks so … it could be worse. Chillwell out for the year so plenty of opps for him this season. Next year they’ve talked about moving James inside as a RCB so could be a place for him at RCB next year

Anyone have a list of the best DCs turned head coaches currently in college football? Everyone down here is wet for Brent Venables (I like him) but i think mainly it's because he's an ex-OU guy who was treated unfairly in retrospect by the program, and is now riding in on a white horse to rescue OU fans from their inferiority complex after Riley bolted. Do DCs ever make good head coaches? I dont know.

At City I assume he's making as much or probably more than he would at any place where he would be the starter. He's mentioned in the past maybe wanting a move after this year so he can play more, so not sure if this is a change of heart or about Steffen getting paid and City maximizing his transfer value. yeah that was my first thought, that city knows he wants to go elsewhere and just wants to cash in when he does. I have no clue what Steffen's value really is on the transfer market, or even, frankly, how good he is.
