Yes, he’s outstanding. Freshman All-American SS. Jacob Gonzalez. .355/.443/.561, 12 HR, 16 2B and 55 RBI coming out of the SEC at SS as a true freshman is quite the line. Looks ready for AAA -

Without looking it up I'd say it's damn near impossible because it wasn't until this century that guys were signing long enough contracts to keep getting run out there long after they stopped being any good. Yaz and Ripken are both really close. Ripken was almost worth 40 WAR from 30-40. Same for Yaz. Pujols was worth like 11.
