Hey sorry dude I didn’t mean to come across as like antagonistic or anything. I wish our owners wanted good players too. Cohen just seems very hands on and I thought it was ironic that he was complaining about his own offense that just added Javier Baez when I’m sure he Ok’d that deal

yeah you can't guarantee that, and it's probably not even true I don't know if anyone IDed him, but I've definitely seen plenty of people online still today saying they think he was dropping the n-bomb and it's just being "covered up" or whatever. That said, however, this blew up before anyone with MLB said anything, so pinning it some kind of vague official statement that didn't ID the guy or show the clip is a stretch. This was a thing BECAUSE of social media; it didn't become a thing on social media because of anything the Rockies or MLB or the Players' Union said. yeah it isnt like everyone was calmly gathering facts and then tony clark blew it up with his statement that like 19 people saw. there *is* a lesson here about a rush to judgement, but that's a much broader issue.

the goal scoring was really hurt imo by not having a midfielder who could connect the defense to the forwards. I really like Acosta and the way be plays, he does a lot of little things, but he needs someone in the midfield with him who has more vision. Im judging basically the entire roster as can they provide depth, and almost to a man they all showed more than i expected. As for Turner, I'm not convinced he's not the best option (I don't know much about Horvath at all, admittedly.) Turner had the one bad touch last night but he was in position the entire tournament, and every time I see Steffen play, he always seems to have 2-3 brutal screw ups with his positioning.

its crazy to me that not one organization sees the difference like $10m a year could make toward player development? Or is it some secret rule not to be the one team that crosses the line and starts taking care of minor leaguers better. i mean if you ever needed proof that baseball owners value making money over winning, here you go

Yes, he’s outstanding. Freshman All-American SS. Jacob Gonzalez. .355/.443/.561, 12 HR, 16 2B and 55 RBI coming out of the SEC at SS as a true freshman is quite the line. Looks ready for AAA -
