    at my old apartment, i assumed my roommate was asleep when I got home late from the bar. His room was right across the hall from mine. A girl I knew came over, and I guess didn't shut my bedroom door all the way, but I didn't notice it because no lights were on anywhere. Anyway, she's like, reverse cowgirl I guess (maybe too much info, but pertinent), with her head down. I was kind of sitting up a little. Anyway, my roommate comes home, he'd actually been out all night. So she's bouncing her ass essentially right in my face, and suddenly I see his big frame fill the door way and just stare at us for what felt like a little too long. She never looks up at this point, so he goes into his room and shuts the door. I never told her and he never mentioned it to me.

    I'm not sure what Theo meant about August and September. A tailspin is what happens when you have a very limited supply of ML talent and then trade them in July, I guess the late season tailspin days might be over because he's talking about trading Shark, Castro, Nate, etc now instead of July which would mean a season long tailspin at the ML level. http://i.imgur.com/N1lx7db.png AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

    In fairness to the Braves, they pretty much did the city a favor by utilizing the Olympic Stadium, putting their own money into it to make it a bit more baseball friendly, and staying there for 20 years of OK attendance despite a very good team. That Olympic Stadium would have been built whether or not the Braves took it over afterwards. This, in my opinion, is far less egregious than the new stadium the Falcons are building right next to their existing stadium that is currently good enough to hold Super Bowls, the SEC title game, and other various college football games and has no additional redeeming quality such as moving to be closer to the fans, etc... You could argue that it will help them keep the SEC game and get a future Super Bowl, but those assumptions are a bit dubious. Overall, both scenarios seem unnecessary, but the football one would chap my ass a bit more if I lived there. i refuse to believe it's almost been 20 years since those olympics. it's simply not true

    No love for Jeremy Lamb? I've always been a big Lamb fan back to when he was in college, but I expected him to be able to play. Having an agile, athletic center is so refreshing after the last few seasons of Perkins that Lamb might as well be Kareem to me.

Why would you laugh at an athlete reaching for the most he can get in an incredibly inflated market? I'd laugh at the idiot who strives low and the teams that can't hang in the market. For the same reason you laugh at anything? What type of hyper-literalist question is that? If Dioner Navarro says he wants a 4/50 deal, are we forbidden for mocking that attempt because it's a weak attempt at anchoring his price? unrelated but i'd give navarro 50 mil before i'd give santana 100 mil
