  1. Teams can go over and offer slightly more to their own guys, but it's not enough to make a difference if the guy really wants to leave. Let them make the guy make a tough decision.
  2. Eliminate penalties for going over the cap to sign your own players. Allow teams to offer contracts to their own players (or even just one player every few years) that can relatively dwarf what other teams can offer on the free market. The secret isn't to destroy super teams, its to allow teams to create them naturally. If lebron or Chris Paul or Durant want to leave their teams, give them a reasonable reason not to. Is lebrom gonna take 5/85 or whatever from Miami if the cavs can offer him 5/125?
  3. ‏@PFTCommenter 3h only diffrence between orton and Big Ben is orton gets to drunk to get a boner IMO
  4. I'm shocked you guys won that game on the last drive. I remember looking at Cam's facial expressions on that drive and thinking how pissed I'd be if I was a Panthers fan because he looked either confused or looked flippant about the situation he was in. Guess I was wrong. the initial notice was a physical appearance black

Watch Pelotero, these assholes are shady as hell
  6. If Baez were to come up a few months into 2014 ... where would he play
  7. Would stroman be the shortest starting pitcher in the majors, assuming he makes it in a rotation
  8. suck a dick, bowden
  9. thats not irrational
  10. [expletive] OFF GOONY
  11. AFC*
  12. stafford with two fantasy playoff eggs in a row, [expletive] up my two best teams. NOCAYFT
  13. Yeah, I was listening to it AT THE GYM and he was basically saying that Romo and Cutler receive all the [expletive] that should be going Eli's way, but isn't because of the super bowl rings his defense bought him.
  14. Given their resources, that's inexcusable. BOOMER
  15. Hey man, that one start against the Reds was [expletive] epic. I will never forget that.
  16. Romo was shredded for wearing a hat backwards.
  17. We've said national media gives him more crap than the local media and Dallas fans. Not that I'm in Dallas, but I'm not in Chicago either and it's pretty obvious to me that Cutler gets it worse than Romo. I can't imagine how someone can say this with a straight face. They are both unfairly criticized, but to say cutler gets it worse than Romo is hysterical. But Cutler gets it for no [expletive] reason. Romo has blown what, 3 games this year with late INTs? Cutler has never done that. Cutler gets [expletive] for getting hurt, his body language, and for throwing to Brandon Marshall too much. I've never heard one of my Cowboys fan friends say, "they need to get rid of Romo". I've never heard a Cowboys fan clamoring for someone else to be the starting QB in the Romo era. ***FYI, I'm talking about by their own fans. Romo vs. Cutler. *** Cowboys fans have a seething hatred for romo.

  20. But the point is that he never gets blamed for a team that continually underperforms overall. While most other QB's are lightning rods for criticism if the team underperforms. Actual stats be damned. LMAO WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT
  21. Little to no doubt that Jameis Winston is a better person that johnny manziel What's this based on? At the very least jameis boned a blacked out chick in a bathroom and then dropped her off on a random corner after. Other than sign autographs and potentially take some cash what did manziel do? you think manziel hasn't had sex with a wasted chick about 184 times in his life? Anyway, who would you rather bet your life on staying out of trouble the next 15 years? I'll take Winston. I doubt either one does something crazy and ends up in jail, but Manziel is gonna cause so many more headaches for his team, and his talent just isnt worth it, compared to an actual prospect like Winston.

  24. Miami has been an afterthought except for like 1/3 of its existence? Who hasn't been other than the Lakers and Celtics? they advanced past the first round of the nba playoffs 5 times in 22 seasons pre-lebron. the point is that they're not some amazingly professional franchise that's constructed to reliably good for years and years. They were just in the right place at the right time ... once this lbj-wade-bosh core is past its prime, which could be as early as next year the way wade is going, what's going to make lebron stay? Is he really going to want to carry a roster of Bosh, 40 games of wade and chalmers for 82 games?
