  5. Urias is obviously a fantastic prospect, but he's a great example of how volatile pitching prospects are. He's 19, crazy advanced, amazing stuff, tearing up AAA ... and his career high in IP is 87.2. You still literally have no idea what you have with him. He's years away from even knowing if he can handle a SP workload.
  6. if only we knew when hendricks would inevitably turn into randy wells
  7. those pictures are horsefeathering amazing
  8. what the hell are you going to scout "hey rich throw your pitch" *big slow curve ball* "yep thats it"
  9. lmao they touched up arrieta, fake rallyed, were at home and still lost.
  10. http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=14221&position=OF#fielding UZR/150 says worse your face

  12. he's actually not been quite as bad on defense this year as last year (still terrible.) But he's worse offensively so it balances out.
  13. jason parks was right
  14. im stuck watching the cardinals broadcast of this game and its jarring how awful they are compared to len and jd
  15. And lets not forget Giancarlo, who is 0-his last-17 with 15 strikeouts
  16. Only thing I worry about is his shelf life. Seems like a guy who loses it all in one offseason.
  17. man mlb.tv just showed the famous glenallen hill dong, the most majestic dong perhaps ever struck, and all i could think of was what a horsefeathering dump wrigley used to be.
  18. you know the old song, the collarbone is connected to the area right above your left hip
  19. he could have torn a muscle in his side from the way his body compacted on the wall
