  1. my favorite HCCF'ism was actually this one. http://www.northsidebaseball.com/archive/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=53971&p=2167288 i also liked his story where he told a story about rolling rocks at a rattlesnake to try to get it to move, it snapped at him, then he got offended because someone told him that he should've been bitten and everyone called him an idiot for provoking a poisonous snake. hahahahah he's a real underrated classic

  3. how cheaply would robertson come?
  4. Gross
  5. hey offseason, where did you get those pants? the dumb idiot store?
  6. nice of him to remember his close friend "Nerk" on the chalk wall
  7. Was he also littlelordfontenot? nope that's west side rooter. i don't remember what his name was before that isnt murtonfan now rondonfan?
  8. unbelievable how he has blown ridiculously high expectations out of the water the fact that he figured out how to be a good defender and then was like "i wanna do it at multiple positions oh yeah im a godlike baserunner lol" is unfair
  9. All of our Cubs legends have been legends because they've had great seasons on bad teams and they succeeded individually despite the mediocrity around them. Now we have a guy like KB who is our actual gamebreaker except he does it on 90-100 win teams and he wins a world series in his first full year feels good man
  10. Chris Archer is likely to cost more than Chris Sale For my money, I'm still really hoping that Teheran or Odorizzi are possibilities. Could/should be available and without really emptying the farm, 4 years of team control through their prime, past the injury nexus and have shown an ability to take a major league workload, and repertoires where you can dream on some improvement with Bosio's impact. christ, i forgot he's under control for another 5 years.
  11. ehh, he'll be 28, three-straight years of 30+ starts, and the only stats that were appreciably worse last year were a slight uptick in H/9 and some bad home run luck. I think we can get two good years out of him at minimum, and that's when our window is strongest.
  12. there's very little reason for us not to trade for chris archer
  13. Man I haven't thought about that comic(???) in forever
  14. why baby cakes and not king cakes?
  15. Fowler could sign with the cardinals and he would still be one of my favorite cubs ever but still horsefeathers them lets sign him
  16. You thought this show was over again motherfuckers? - theo
  17. at 4 years just give him whatever he wants, who cares.
  18. that went about what? 3,000 km? or meters? i dont get the metric system. HE ALMOST HIT THAT ONE TO YOKOHAMA
  19. I think it was shortly after his 1st one when I thought for sure the team would go 162-0 I think oddly the best i felt about the cubs all year was that first blowout of Arizona. I was like "this is what we envisioned in the offseason and it's actually real."
  20. Well, that's one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. what a nice consolation prize
  21. he got texts from michael jordan and barry bonds, we must re-sign this man
  22. His name is Russian lol
  23. I dont mind people being upset at him, but I don't care. If Hillary had won and people said "oh im out of here now" i'd have probably tweeted the same thing. We have a lot to worry about post-election, athletes being insensitive on twitter is way down the list.
  24. USA vs Mexico on Friday is gonna be ... something
  25. well he's from texas
