To be honest, that's what its going to take to get people off his back at this point. His past offseason was a complete over reaction to 3 bad games in September. There was absolutely no need to change anything from last year whatsoever except maybe adding a bullpen guy (like Heilman). Keep DeRosa, keep Wood, let Kosuke/Reed platoon CF, let Hoff/DeRosa platoon RF with DeRosa also splitting 2B with Fontenot. No need to trade Marquis, use Marshall as lefty in bullpen instead of Cotts, no need for Aaron Miles with DeRosa still around. No need for Gregg if you still have Woody. Joey Gathright could have not been signed and we could have used Jake Fox as our last bench guy. Replacing Hank with Koyie Hill is a non-move. So, he should have let Ward, Howry, Blanco, and Edmonds go and replaced them with Hoffpauir, Heliman, Hill, and Fox and we'd have the team we should have. Instead, he had to tinker and bring in a bunch of garbage.
