  1. Don't tell that to Mike Patrick.
  2. Hilarious Audio of Michael Clarke Duncan and Skip Bayless arguing on Cold Pizza. http://deadspin.com/sports/skip-bayless/i-smell-a-buddy-cop-movie-231986.php
  3. I'd just like to say that Fred Thomas is the worst CB I've seen play this year, and the Bears definitely need to pick on him all game. Also, the Saints' LB's, while good at stopping the run, lack coverage skills and this would be the perfect time to incorporate Des Clark and our RB's in the passing game.
  4. I can't wait until 95 percent of the country picks the Saints. It'll make it that much sweeter when the BEARS win.
  5. Seahawk fans sure do complain a lot.
  6. That's funny considering LT has played 5 of his 97 career games in a dome. And I don't even understand the hash marks comment. Gale Sayers= Joe Morgan.
  7. I think Rex has more to do with the underestimation of the Bears than anything though. ESPN's poll says the Bears are the most likely favorite to lose. It's interesting considering they are playing the worst underdog in the playoffs. That's funny considering the Bears are the biggest favorites in the divisional playoffs by 3 points more than any other team. I guess that happens when people watch ESPN and listen to what Salisbury and Schlereth and all the other know nothing "analysts" say to degrade the Bears.
  8. His explanation is that Rex is more concerned about the where the next party is than what the next job is. Unbelievable. I knew as soon as Rex made that statement about not being prepared, everyone would be all over it. I know it seems silly, but Rex seems to be singled out and ripped on more than any other player I've seen in a while. Also, I'm pretty sure Rex is a gametape freak and a pretty hard worker. Plus, I think Orton is way more of a partier than him.
  9. While the punch was quite nasty (those with pics in your sig should post them), I must say that the foul tip had to have been nastier. Nothing against Carrie, but this is one topic she surely has no speaking rights on. Take a look at her picture, I'm not so sure she doesn't know what that feels like.
  10. Hinrich's "cheap" play on Wade was a subject of discussion on ESPN's 1st and 10. Of course, Skip Bayless, being the Chicago hater that he is says that Hinrich should be at least fined, if not suspended, and that Kirk is known for being a dirty player. Absolutely no mention of the Posey play on Deng. Once again, nice job by ESPN to not mention important facts in stories.
  11. This has to be the most clustered playoff picture ever, 75% of the teams still alive. Just amazing. Anyway, I think Philly wins out, takes the NFC East and the number 3 seed, while Seattle holds on and gets the number 4 seed. Dallas finishes 10-6 and gets the number 5 seed, and the Giants sneak by with the final playoff seed despite being 8-8. As far as the AFC, I think the Bengals beat Denver this week, and the Jets win out. Although I think it may all mean nothing in the end, as I think San Diego will just ruin every team it faces.
  12. That picture of Hester is awesome, especially the fact that he's taking a jump shot while wearing number 23. As for the Jets, I don't think they can run on the Bears, which will force Pennington and his weak arm to beat them. Don't see it happening.
  13. Donald Driver isn't very smart. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/cs-061030drivertalks,1,6121587.story?coll=chi-sportstop-hed
  14. Man, I hate baseball so much. Freakin' 83 win team winning the world series. The Cubs will win 143 games and lose the World Series before this ever happens again. I also don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but the Cards won a World Series at their new park in its first year of exsistence, and the Cubs still haven't won at Wrigley. I hate life.
  15. Adam Kennedy just seems like the kind of hitter who would break up a potential No-Hitter/Perfect game. Low average, a bit pesky. It always happens, Preston Wilson breaking up Z's bid and just today, Chris Duffy and his .240 BA breaking up Ben Sheets' perfecto.
  16. Adam Kennedy will break it up with 2 outs in the 8th.
  17. Indeed. This guy is the biggest crybaby in baseball. I'm pretty sure him and Hawk get together before games and think of excuses to make when things go wrong. Hawk blamed Buerhle's 7th inning implosion on the home plate umpire failing to call strikes on Tim Salmon when the pitches called balls were clearly inside. It is tough to even stomach watching a Sox game with that excuse making crybaby in the booth.
  18. Everytime i try and download it, it says "this page has expired". I've tried like 5 times and it won't work. Any suggestions?
  19. Our awesome middle infield has cost Zambrano 3 runs today, and put his ERA at nearly 3.5.
  20. DeJesus sounds interesting. The only problem with that is that I fear KC will want everything and the kitchen sink for DeJesus. Other than that, I'd like to at least inquire about him. How about someone like Reed Johnson? He's batting .352 with a .431 OBP. He doesn't take many walks, but he's been hit 16 times. Has some decent pop in his bat, and seems to play some solid D. Not sure what his availibility would be, but he'd be someone I'd like.
  21. Good thing we got Izturis to field all of the groundballs that McTits throws.
  22. Woohoo, defense up the middle, Let's resign Pierre, trade Barrett, and make Henry Blanco our everyday catcher. World Series, here we come.
  23. Cesar Izturis may be one of the better defensive SS in the game today, but he is absolutely awful offensively. Combine his .633 career OPS with Ronny Cedeno's .614 OPS this year and you have one of the worst Offensive Middle Infields in the history of the game.
  24. Looks like Craig Monroe and AJ are involved in a war of words after Monroe bumped into him yesterday after his Grand Slam. Apparently AJ told the media that Monroe apologized, but Monroe said he never apologized and that AJ actually elbowed him. I dont know who you believe here. Monroe was arrested for stealing a belt a couple offseasons ago, and AJ is, well, AJ.
  25. "When you're in a car and you're the driver, you know what to do," Zambrano said. "You go 100 mph in Venezuela -- you know what to do. The people in the passenger seat can be scared, but the guy who is driving the car is not scared because he's the guy. Same way on the mound -- I know that I have the ball and I know that I have confidence in my pitches. If I locate good pitches, they will not hit the ball." I LOVE THIS MAN!
