  1. I miss last years Super Bowl thread.
  2. I hate Indiana.. Eric Gordon is amazing. I am impressed.
  3. SO HOW BOUT THIS FOR SCHOOL PRIDE!!! I am going to the Wisconsin-Milwaukee game against Detroit Mercy in Detroit. I am missing Lost and the start of the Badgers-Hoosiers game. Also UDM is in the "heart" of Detroit. So imagine that gorgeous part of the USA.
  4. I will take a 2nd team too, because well... I am a draft nerd
  5. I will take a 2nd team too, because well... I am a draft nerd
  6. I didnt even know it moved. Good work moving it back
  7. Bruce Pearl is awesome.
  8. Well. I can already hear the sound of domestic violence ringing throughout Wisconsin.
  9. Jock is starting for the tigres I bet Thames starts over Jacque http://www.impawards.com/1986/posters/platoon.jpg
  10. Wisconsin-Madison and Wisconsin-Milwaukee won!! Yeah
  11. Northwestern is being annoying. 22-20 wisc. at half
  12. This should be a bumper sticker.
  13. Demps' 2006 and 2007 esp. left much to be desired. And IMO, closers are closers because (1) they don't have the talent that starters do, or (2) they have the "stuff", but not the endurance. Dempster is borderline candidate at best for the closing spot, and IMO has no business in a starting rotation unless there is a dire emergency (e.g., the Wood-Prior debacle that the team endured for two years). he had three blown saves.... THREE!!!! my goodness, with this team recent history of ratty closers you would think people would appreciate dempster more.
  14. I hate you  I hate you as well
  15. Badgers are man handling Penn State. Claxton left hurt
  16. I'm in...I got the Bears. EDIT: :P Well, what I thought might be more interesting if there were numerous people who wanted the same team (though we'd probably have to set a limit at 3-4, is if they all agreed to be on real time, we could create a war room, where the 3-4 discussed the pick on IM before the designated representative made the pick. As part of the pick, they might include some of the discussions that led to the pick. It might be too much trouble, but I think it would be a lot of fun. And so, Raisin for the Bears, I got Cowboys, next... STUPID STUPID RAISIN!!!!!! NOT FAIR!! :D ill take the glory and the power of the Raiders Edit: Nevermind, I like Vance's idea alot. Im in that bears war room.
  17. Fargas is the guy I want the bears to get if he is available.
  18. to be fair, he was found not guilty. Don't let that silly little fact get in the way of rationality. Noticed I said Chmura was charged--not found guilty. So don't let that "silly little fact" get in the way. Even though he admitted to drinking with a bunch of teenage girls (including his own child's babysitter, who accused him of raping her) in a hot tub. Those must be silly little facts, too. I think you'll find this blog on the rationality of packer fans an interesting read: Link Sweet, so just because some Packers fans support Chmura, that means all of them support him. I love assumptions. flames, i respect you.
  19. ?? The Packers have played in cold weather before. Brett is awesome in cold weather in Lambeau. Did you miss the Packers game at Soldier? The Packer's fans didn't miss that game. It just didn't count because of the following reasons that I've heard so far from the idiotic fans of the green and urine gold: 1) They just didn't want anybody getting hurt in the cold. 2) They got caught looking ahead to the playoffs. 3) The game really didn't mean anything (even though it did), so they didn't try as hard. 4) If it hadn't been for the packer's punting game, they'd have won. 5) The Bears just got lucky. Again. Any other day, the packers would have won. Believe me. I live in Wisconsin, so I've heard it all. Isnt it funny how non packer fans from wisconsin, hate the packers more than anyone. Also, Roast. You have no idea how stupid and irrational packer fans are. If you havent lived there you have no idea. And 95% of Bears fans that I know are stupid and irrational too. It's what every fan says about the opposing fan base of a rival team. Yeah, I just had a terrible childhood, being the only bears fan in a rural wisconsin town. I cant stand most bears fans either to be truthful

  21. I disagree. Green Bay's defense has a good chance of knocking off New England. Green Bay's defense would get ripped to shreds by New England. Dude, I hate the packers, but this is a false comment. Packers are stacked in the secondary. And their front seven is incredibly fast. With that said, they wont beat the Patriots. If they do, I will never go home.
