If he played a position of higher demand then yes. However I don't see anyone keeping him on their roster at seasons end, and in the draft he is probably around a 5th round pick. There's a few teams that Ankiel would be an upgrade at Utility for. He's certainly not a fantasy stud, but he's average to above average. BTW, I think a players exemptions should start over if they are sent down to the minors and switched from P to a position player. Any objections? :D

I will say this about Ankiel, though. He hit 11 HR last year in less then 200 ABs. He already has 4 HR this year in 60AB. He could be a 25 HR guy and a value to someone. If someone would prefer Luke Scott I'd be willing to trade him and keep Ankiel.

ESPN is reporting the deal is 6/17.5 Million and a 2 club option. This is a HUGE savings for TB in the arby years though. His last year of arby he could command 12-15 million if he plays to his potential. Great deal for the Rays. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3353025 -

I don't foresee any deal in which I'll give up both Longoria AND Bruce. It seems to be the first two guys everyone wants when dealing with me. (Regardless of the talent I get back.) :D

BigRedSun kicked my ass in my ESPN fantasy league last week. The "stitchface" thing kills me. I still see BigRedSun when I read anything Juan writes. There's a few others like that too. But BRS is the worst. How long have we been doing this league, BTW? I know I was in the first season, but I don't remember what year it was.
