  1. I'm also amped about Jason Heyward making the Braves out of ST. He'll be their everyday RF.
  2. I like my team much more than last year. I have strong pitching (Carpenter, Zambrano, AJB, Garza, Happ) and a few big bats (Longoria, Berkman, Beltran, Hanley, Holliday). It could be a special year if all goes well. I'm hopeful that Jay Bruce will have a break out year and Napoli will get the playing time he deserves. Oh, and Beltran stays in one piece.
  3. The Chiefs just launched a new blog on Monday. Here's the link: http://peoriachiefs.mlblogs.com/
  4. Mine is 217-372-4251.
  5. I like the idea, but I'd have to see how it effected the cap number and number of players available to keep.
  6. Should have mine soon. I mailed it three or so days after I said I did/was going to. :D
  7. I don't know who's up, but my pick is in.
  8. yes I'll take Donovan Tate, OF, Padres.
  9. Is it my pick?
  10. Oh, and sorry for the wait guys.
  11. I would like to select Kim Jin-yeong, SP, Cubs (Long shot, but if he's any good I won't be able to get him in the years to come.)
  12. cbbryan + Harry's Budcrew + Chuck and I have no requests....
  13. It's a corporate expense. :D LOL!
  14. Mine went out today, Juan.
  15. Welcome!
  16. Nominate Best Cubs site on the internet here: LINK Anyone else is welcome to nominate as well! :D
  17. So two new owners. How about Hosak?
  18. One of our writers at 312 did a nice write-up on Warner: LINK It will be interesting to see how the NFL voters look at Warner. I think he'll have more problems getting in then most think. He had a great career, but he only had about 5 good seasons and his yards are lower than most of the recent QB inductions. The NFL HOF is a crapshoot anyway.
  19. I still went to a game last year, but doesn't look like I will be able to this year with the expenses of wedding, honeymoon, etc. Need to take a honeymoon, right?
  20. I'm in! Looking forward to this year.
  21. Interview audio is up. Here's the link: LINK
  22. VIDEO: Sandberg speaks about his new job, Dawson's introduction to the HOF, and McGwire's admission to steroids.
  23. Did I lose my job?? :D j/k. Brian did a great job as my intern and will be outstanding with these interviews and working for 312sports. Can't wait to see what he has with Arch. My question is non-baseball related...Chris was one of the best off the field individuals we have ever had in Peoria giving his time selflessly to visit kids in Hospitals, read to school classes, do media interviews, sign autographs and volunteer for other events. As a young man, where did this desire to help others come from and do you see it as part of your job in being a professional baseball player? Hopefully you wont be back in Peoria so good luck to you in 2010, you will be an asset to whatever team/community you pitch for. Nathan lol, Nathan. There you go.....fixed.
  24. Brian Bedo is e-mailing his questions over soon. If you have any questions please get them in right away. Thanks.
