FINALLY!!!! Pettitte with a good start! Rockies suck! You've got Konerko tonight................ he'll have to have a huge game w/ Pettite still scoring a CG, SO, and a QS. Hope he sits! :lol: CBS has given Pettite the points for CG and SO. He will get 7 pts for the QS which will put me somewhere in the 259 area. Konerko has to score 11-12 pts for a win. Go Twins!!!!!!!! actually, with TB allowed you will lose an additional 3.75 so konerko needs 8 or 9 to catch up. basically a three run homer would do it at this point. frickin' thome takes too many runners off the bases for konerko. Yeah, I forgot about that. Konerko's out of the game now. He managed 3 pts. 1-4 w/ a 2B and RBI. I got lucky with Chavez missing so much time this week and VMart scoring so low......................... Radke sucks too by the way (2 starts/2 points)........................I thought for sure you'd get me. I have another tough match-up in week 7 w/ NSBB. my offense was down this week - actually scoring was down this week. you had a great last day! Yeah, 63+ pts in the last day helps. Still alittle too close for comfort. It was a great match-up though, I enjoyed it. How about Fuzzy Logistics and Sanitizers. Fuzzy's came very close to their 1st win of the season.

Chavez out of the line-up AGAIN today. He's been in one game this week and went 0 - 5 w/ 3Ks. My pitching is going to have to carry me today. I've got a huge gap after yesterdays run by Lynx........... Hopefully, I can make it at least close.

Are you saying that some teams actually call up the player that is hitting better. Shocking!!!! It would be an interesting move! Rewards based on merit.......... Novel idea! -
I really like Barrett, but he should use the same attitude toward some of his teammates.

The Cubs had better get in on this if that's all it takes. I don't think Abreu could be had for a couple of "b" prospects. Maybe I'm wrong, but during the offseason, they wanted a top-of-the-line starter. Why would things be different now? Because the Yankees are involved and it's ESPN reporting. I don't believe any of it. Besides that, Who would the Yanks trade for Abreau? If it is prospects, they don't have many. Abreau is to the Phillies as ManRam is to the Red Sox........always rumored to be going somewhere a few times a year and never gets traded. The Phils have a chance to make a playoff run...........why trade Abreau and if you did you'd have to have an impact player coming back to help them immediately. IMO, it just doesn't make much since from the Phils perspective to trade Abreau right now. -
In reality, what do guys feel is Dusty's chances of being fired? I don't think it's much until after Lee, Wood, and Prior come back. Unless he contiues to lead the Cubs to 1-8 streaks. What if they Cubs are 15 out by the All-Star game? Is Dusty gone?

Not a great start by Chacon, but thankfully Proctor came in and got the last out in the 5th. Won't get a QS, but at least it didn't get ugly!

Conine makes alot of sense. I brought his name up alot during the offseason as an acquisition that Hendry needed to make. Why didn't he just sign him to begin with? He's a good option off the bench and would fit nicely...............problem is you have to give something up for him now. I don't know if I'd give up Ohman, though.

Nick Swisher lights it up early today to get Lynx back into it. Meanwhile, Chavez was in the hospital Thursday morning for apparent food poisoning. Should be fun tonight............Juan has Wakefield and I have Chacon... Someone should get a win!!!! Hope I can get a win. For some reason Juan always has my number no matter how good of a week I have.
