Flyers up by 8, but I have 4 starts to his 2 remaining.

A rainout screws me out of a start this week w/ Chacon. And VMart gets a day off today. The Flyers and HBC will be tight on points after tonight. Lets hope my hitting wakes up a bit.

Looks like I made a mistake when switching my line-up for this week.... Shelton is suppose to be in the OF, but I must of done it too late and I lose out on at least 7 points tonight. I have no starts tonight and Flyers have 2...........hopefully I'll stay close and not have a huge deficit to overcome.

My whole starting middle infield is hurt. I'm still hanging in there, but I'd like to have Cantu and Lugo in there as apposed to Wilson and Kennedy.

i'm guessing that's not the punishment they're considering. Yeah, I'm sure it's not. It will actually probably cost him an early call-up, if a call-up this year at all.

My pitching line so far: 33.2 INN, 58 HA, 14 BBI, 23 K, 32 ER, W, 4 L, HD, 94 TBA I didn't expect it to be great, but I thought at least Carlos and Pettite would be in the positive! I need some big offensive numbers...........a bad start for the opposition wouldn't be bad!!!!

Guys, I need your help! In Mississippi, I can order "custom" license plates, but I have to have 99 other people w/ pre-orders for the same license! Do you think I can find 99 other Cub Fans in Mississippi? If so, it would be the first MLB team on a Mississippi plate..............They currently have a bunch of different NASCAR drivers, but no MLB. Let me know if you guys know anyone from Mississippi that would be interested. Chuck

Where were the Trib higher ups when a lot of money was being handed out to a crappy ballplayer? 15m is what they gave a crappy ballplayer just last week. Jones is a classic Cub signing. Essentially, sign a guy hoping he can return to past glory. See Kal Daniels, Maldonaldo, Hundley, Nomar for more. I'm sure one of the elder statesmen Cub fans could come up w/ one heck of a list of such signings. Howard Johnson anyone? -

An even bigger shame is that other teams will have to overpay because of their ignorance. What will Prior get in arby after bringing up Millwood's contract? I'm not a Millwood hater..........I actually thought the Cubs should have gone after him as well, but not at that price. -

I'm kind of mixed on this topic. I'd love to have Tejada as a Cub. I'd also love to see Prior stay as a Cub. It would seem to me that the Cubs are interested in making this trade because they want to contend this year. If they do, why would they trade Prior? Prior's probably a fair trade for Tejada, but it doesn't make sense for the Cubs, IMHO. I'd trade Hill, Guzman, and a lower level positional player before I'd trade Prior.................. only because of where the team is right now.
