I'm definitely on board with this. Especially since Lou will want to give Soriano and Fukudome plenty of days off. I've had a baseball crush on Bradley for a few years now.

A rotation of Z, Harden, Lilly, Dempster, Hill is actually looking decently possible. That would make be pop so many b's.

At least there was very little chance of the Brewers losing tonight no matter who was pitching for them. Redman isn't exactly the best of the best and Colorado probably won't be repeating as NL champs.

He hasn't pitched since Saturday. He could dust some rust off too. I doubt it though. Wuertz hasn't pitched in 2 1/2 months, how bout we get him some work? With Gaudin coming, Cotts doing well, and Marmol out of his funk, Wuertz next work may well be in a different uniform. I'm not sure how much I think of Gaudin. He has a career ERA of 4.90 away from Oakland. Edit: whoops, he hasn't played for Oakland his whole career, but his career away ERA is 4.90.

Yea his .394 OBP is totally reminicent of past Cubs players. And you're going on ignore. Thank god for that feature. Added him a long time ago. Kind of the Junior High version of ignoring someone, where rather than ignore them, you talk about ignoring them. Interesting that you seem to know so much about Junior High behaviour, no? Junior High didn't become big until around 1920, so I can see why you'd lack that information. *winking face*

Some guy named Dusty might have something to do with it Could he be had for cheap to fill out the rotation? Ok, so I'm high from the Harden deal and not thinking clearly, but still. I think Burnett is much more likely option. Although Hendry doesn't seem interested. We still have plenty left to get him though.

Same here. He's been my favorite player for awhile, but he was never going to get a chance here. Oakland is a great fit for him.

If the question was, can he have any success what so ever in short-season A ball, then yes he's answered that question. Oh, come on. He's an 18 year old putting up good numbers. Get excited about him, you know you want to. He's the next Wade Boggs.

You should all hurry up, run and tell your kids that Santa isn't real. Then kick dirt in their faces. SSBW, it might have actually been you, but I remember somebody posting once that they called a Cubs number and left a message for Dusty Baker and that he returned the call. Its probably very unlikely, but I don't think its ridiculous to think you might get through to Hendry.
