If we are going to suck this year, we might as well get them some experience for next year if at all possible. It might not be the time yet for Pie, but it will be soon. The bright side is that the Astros I think were worse last year at this time. -
right now I am cheering more for the Mavs than the Cubs. Maybe should they win it all Cuban will say what the hell and try something new. It helps that they are showing so few games on TV lately.

Taking a quick look I'm surpised at Ching over Twellman.... Thats who I was missing. I was trying to figure out how the hell Ching made the team. I think the success of this team comes down to Onyewu, Dempsey, and Johnson.

I wish Chris Armas could stay healthy, they were always a different team when he was in his prime. Holland still getting little respect with Italy as 5/1 odds and Holland at 8/1.

Just saw USC's Mark Sanchez was arrested for sexual assult. Not a good day for top rated prospects.

Its going to be very interesting to see how much this blows up. I am guessing a minimum of 45, and won't be suprised to see it go for the entire season. Hell the city might try to bring on assult charges. Not to mention a big ass bitch slap from his big brother. I have heard stories that this guy is a real prick, guess they might be pretty accurate.

The LSU Texas game is going to be very physical. If Texas can go better than the 3-19 or whatever they shot 3's I think they will win pretty easily. But LSU is a scary team.

Of everyone who filled out a bracket, I wonder how many if any still are perfect. Even if anyone has it, right now there is not a team that even looks like they are going to win the NC. Picking that team from the round of 32 is going to be difficult.

Is it just me or is this the least impressive all 4 #1 seeds have been against #16 seeds in recent memory. Not that they are really struggling against them, but just not the total domination we used to see. How many #1 seeds do you see surviving the weekend?

I don't want it in the middle of the season becuase then 95% of MLB will have 2-3 weeks off, and that is just too long. Have it in November, if the players complain then don't let them play. Soccer players get less than 3 months off, and play the WC in there off season and every single player would die just to play for their country. -

There are always a couple of players left behind anytime Cuba leaves their country for an international tourney. I am sure a couple of agents are hanging money from sticks trying to get his attention. What was the name of that 2nd baseman the Yankees bought about 3 years ago. Haven't heard of him since so I can't remember (was it Andy Morales?). Still prospects are prospects. -
Its pretty obvious what this thread is about. Both opinions are valid, but is there really any reason to state the ugly of the two. If you have nothing nice to say, is there really any need to say anything at all. What are you actually accomplishing? Everyone here has already established their opinions, prior to his death. There is really no reason to say anything hateful to the man. Just let the other's remember him the way they want to.
