+1. I still don't know anyone who likes Gulati, btw. I don't think I had a real dislike for him until the Klinnsman debacle. I mean seriously, one of the best coaches in the world who has the capability to lead the US to the next level wrapped himself in a bow and pretty much handed himself to the USSF for the taking and they completely botched the deal.

It would be a nightmare if they hired some solid, foreign manager. Please keep hiring your unqualified, former heroes, Mexico. Jorge Campos or Luis Hernandez, please. Those were my thoughts. I would still prefer Luis Hernandez would get run over by a bus.

Tommy Smyth is the grand marshall of the St. Patricks Day Parade today. Not that it really matters, but pretty cool for him. Plus just guessing only people on this thread will even know who he is.

You can move him to the DL right now to avoid dropping players knowing he won't be on the DL. This way you could have a legal roster, and avoid making cuts.

There is a large grey area here, I just took it as in good faith in terms of if the player probably or might start the season on the DL.

I'm pretty sure my girlfriend can do just as well as me simply by looking at seeds and names of schools she likes. I tend to do either very very good, or just god awful in this.

Tennessee rightly got seeded second. Is a two-win difference in the conference tournament enough to nullify a much better regular season? If it is, it shouldn't be. Who do you knock down then? Kansas Kansas finished tied for the Big 12 title and Tennessee won theirs but Kansas showed up and won the Big 12 tournament. That's your difference. And the Big 12 was a better league in the SEC this year. Kansas over Tennessee for a No. 1 is a no doubter. Like you said, Tennessee won the SEC outright. The Vols also had a better RPI than Kansas (2 v 5), Tennessee had 3 wins over teams in the top 12 in the RPI (Memphis - higher ranked than Kansas - Vandy and Xavier) while Kansas had 1 (Texas today) and Tennessee has a SOS of 1 and Kansas' is 50. Far from a no-doubter and, in my opinion, ridiculous. Kansas had a better weekend. Tennessee had a better season. Kansas looks like a better team IMO.

Very glad Texas is in the South and not the West, have fun Duke. Still playing Stanford as a 3 seed will be tough, but happier to be in the same region as Memphis rather than UCLA. Plus Region semi's and finals will be in Houston.

This is the longest Mexico have gone in some time without firing someone. Even if Sanchez gets fired, he will get rehired again at some point in 5 years.

I don't think the KU/UT loser drops to the 4th two-seed. I wasn't trying to rank the 1 and 2 seeds, just listing them.

Based on Howry's spring and last season, he probably should not be considered a closer till after May.

Here is what I see so far #1 Seeds Memphis - Lock with Tenn loss today North Carolina - Lock with Duke loss today UCLA - Lock with Pac 10 title today Texas/Kansas winner #2 Seeds Tennessee - Tough spot for them, odd man out. Duke Wisconsin - Maybe deserving of a #1, RPI, SOS, and Big 10 hurt them though Texas/Kansas loser - Georgetown potential loss tonight makes this a lock, plus they don't have the resume to go over Texas or Kansas.

At this point even the two of them might not know what's actually happening. ](*,) Wouldn't suprise me if neither of those two even know where they are from moment to moment. Pretty sure Angelos has no clue to what is going on, but he hasn't had a clue in over 10 years.

i like. :good: You should to avoid ManU and Barca, although now is the best time to face Baca before Messi comes back. An all-english final is looking like a real possibility. I'm going to predict a ManU vs Arsenal final, and it will be glorious.

Hopefully it doesn't follow the Liverpool-Chelsea model of being incredibly boring. Given what both teams have to play for and the current standings it shouldn't. Arsenal need a league win very badly. Liverpool need to stay in the top of Everton. Liverpool has nothing to play for this season other than the Champions League, but if not careful might not even be in it next season. Liverpool could play for the draw the 1st two games, then look to take it at home in the last game. I honestly have no clue. The lineups over those days will be very different I am guessing for each game.

Let's see: Verlander Escobar Hamilton Hermida Hughes Chamberlain j Upton Gallardo Rasmus Parra Will all still be exempt this offseason (hooray new rules!). Only Escobar is a questionable talent on that list. I may have doubts about 2008 (though I still see mine as one of the top 3 teams and as likely to win the championship as any), but I'm rocking for 2009. I just need to campaign for a bigger reserve list and extra keepers during the offseason. No reason for that to happen. Might as well leave the same.
