With so much being unknown about when Utley will return having Derosa would be a huge help to them to start the season, so from that standpoint it makes sense.

He has been a bit disappointing and is not exactly an OBP machine, but hell, he's 22! I've also seen that Chad Tracy is available - he could probably play RF? I would trade Theriot for him, not sure what else it would take or even that the Cubs have. But I would gladly take him off the Twins hands. -

I'm very interested in the TCU game, the Holiday bowl looks like it could be great as well. Though the Holiday Bowl usually never disappoints.

Bama/Texas and OSU/Utah would have been better games. Bama/Texas would've definitely been a much better game. Thats what I was calling for. Plus would have been nice to have a Big 12/SEC showdown. Texas can still win the AP Championship with a win too. Not that it means that much.

Kind of what I am thinking. I am not really sure Peavy wants to go back to SD after all of this and knowing the state of the franchise for the next 2-4 years. I don't think the Brewers have a shot, but the Angels were always the team I thought could make a play.

8 p.m. on Fox It'll be leaked earlier, though, I'm sure. I'm having a hard time remembering, but it seemed like the human polls don't even release early today. I won't be home till 7, so 8 works out well for me :-).

The Snead-McCoy thing is really going to work out terrific for both players and programs in the end. It really has, and like I've told you I am happy for Snead. He will be an interesting prospect after next season.

Ironically enough, Snead was hooked into Florida at one point as well. John Brantley committed to Texas very early on only to back out after McCoy's freshman season and commit to Florida ](*,) . I ain't mad though, and this kid Texas has coming in might be the best yet in Garrett Gilbert from Lake Travis. In the Texas 4A state Quarterfinals his team won 71-9.

I've said this before, but before the season began a couple of years ago I liked Snead more than McCoy and thought he had a great chance to beat him out for the starting spot. McCoy was a better student, and knew how to run the offense very well which gave him the edge. McCoy then broke the freshman record for td passes in the NCAA that season, which was broke by Bradford last season.

well....yeah, i can agree with that. See, I can do it too. Get ready, you know Alabama is back. And it is good to be hated again. well, you're definitely hated :amen: I won't be satisfied, until Alabama is "USC hated." I think OU is the most hated team, this year definitely. The entire state of Texas was hoping our team plane crashed on the way to the championship. Frankly, i don't know about you guys, but i really don't care about alabama at all. lol and no one outside of Big 12 country hates Oklahoma. I hate OU, but I respect the hell out of them, Stoops, and Bradford. Bradford is probably my favorite OU player ever which really sucks too :-).

Probably, but I don't think Tebow will stick at QB in the NFL either. He will have the same problems Vince Young had, and probably more.

I'd much rather see Florida/OU. Sadly I almost would too, though I want Texas in it. If Texas and OU both win they AP could give Texas their NC giving us another split although the BCS is kind of the consensus NC. Either way it would be another knock on college football.

I thought this was the worst USC team since 2001. They are still really good though. agreed, there worst offense in many years. Sanchez is just not a great QB. He has great tools, just hasn't put them all together.

No and yes he's a redshirt sophomore. He can come out if he wants. If Bradford wins it, I won't be upset. Obviously I want McCoy, but maybe that will be the kick in the ass to get Bradford in the NFL next season :-). Also I want to point out OU only rushed for 48 yards against Texas ;-).

I hope UT and Bama get to play each other. Might as well let the Big 12 and SEC square off against each other.

Nobody in the Big XII can. I still argue that Texas has a very good run defense and lb's, pass defense needs a little help. Actually needs a little experience. Needs physicality. In the secondary yes. Up front with Orakpo, Roy Miller, and Sergio Kindel not as much. So far I am encouraged, but will probably just end up getting Baylored again this week.
