If this kid is right, I'm going to be missing some work due to hangovers in the near future. It would be really awesome if he did, but I am not sure I believe it. They said it's from from cbssportsline. Here is the standings from the overall bracket. Of course he could have a private group that this is not a part of.

Bruce Feldman has an insider article about how Mauer contributed to the demise of FSU football by signing with the Twins. It is an interesting thought being that he signed with them and in all likelyhood would have been a 3+ year starter for them.

All this talk about Scott Drew's shadiness is coming as a huge surprise to me after hearing nothing but great things from my parents who personally know his dad. I have a lot of respect for Homer Drew. Scott, not so much. When Baylor was the leader for John Wall it was because they were going to be hiring his coach as well IIRC. They did hire his AAU coach. Lot of good that did them. I was wondering if he is still there or will continue to be there.

He timed very slow, but didn't look it on the field. He may play faster than he times and I'd be fine with the Titans taking him most anywhere. Best in a 3-4 I think, though. Gives the Cowboys someone to groom as an eventual replacement for Brooking so he would have time to develop.

In Tiger Woods terms, that is a whole lot of hookers. I am happy for Mauer and happier he won't be in NY. He really seems like a great guy.

Its scary to think what he will be like when he is 24-28. His form this past month is insane. I've lost count but I think that's 11 goals his last 4 games. edit: that was 10 in his last 4, and 34 in 38 games and on the verge of scoring his 200th for Barca.

Chelsea dropped points today making the race even tighter. ManU have a tough schedule the rest of the way out (@ Bolton, v Chelsea, @ Blackburn, City, and Sunderland, and v tottenham at home) but keeping finding a way to pull out all 3 points.

From the sound of it he's staying enrolled for the spring semester, but as for the fall, he hasn't said anything. There have been rumors that he'd want to go to K-State along with his brother, so that could be it. Here's a story on it. Bill Snyder sure knows how to get transfers. I think he's gonzo. Good pickup for KSU. He built his entire program around transfers, I think he has Blinn JC on his speed dial.
